About this cottage rental

Witness to an exceptional architectural heritage, our farm "tricellulaire", characteristic of the medium-sized farms end of the eighteenth and early nineteenth century in the Ardennes was renovated in furnished holiday: maximum comfort for an unforgettable stay in the Namur Ardennes.
Large kitchen equipped with electric cooker and oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, usual household appliances (mixer, coffee machine, electric kettle, etc.). Washing machine.
Spacious dining room with wood burning stove, lounge with plenty of armchairs, TV, Wi-Fi internet access, tourist information.
Still on the ground floor, a toilet, a shower room with vanity unit, and a laundry / storage room.
On the floor, four rooms. Towels (5,00€/pers.) and sheets (12,00€/bed) could be provided with supplement.
One bedroom is equipped with its own shower room with sink and toilet, another with its sink. In the hall and on the landing, two other independent toilets and a bathroom with tub / shower and cabinet two basins.
Covered summer kitchen with barbecue, overlooking the terrace with views of the surrounding meadows.
Central heating, double glazing. The fixed price heating includes 10 liters of domestic fuel / day. Your real consumption will be calculated at the end of your stay thanks to the individual meter, and a supplement, at the official price, will so be asked in case of more consummate fuel. Each bag filled with residual waste (not selective sorting) is charged €9.00 retained on the deposit.
We accept pets on a case by case basis. Dogs must be well trained and not noisy. No dogs allowed to go upstairs and stay in the rooms, out of respect for all holidaymakers and hygiene.
Possibility to host your horses and paddock available, to be confirmed when booking.

Beautiful home and great host

Beautiful home and great host

This home is perfectly positioned for trips to Bastogne, Bouillon, the Ardennes, or just Belgium and France in general. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, a play room, and a big dining room table for all seven of us. The only thing keeping me from giving them 5-stars is you need to bring your own towels and linen. The host even helped us find a garage and translate for us when our car had trouble. Great location, great house, and great people.

Très bonne expérience nous étions 8 amis. Le gite est très agréable et grand ainsi que tout équipé, les lits confortables et deux douches modernes qui semblent neuve. L’emplacement du Gite est très bien sans être parfait. Petit point négatif car il y avait beaucoup de mouches et le grill du barbecue est assez sale. Merci Yves pour ce séjour.

Wij logeerden er als gezin van 4 (kindjes 2 en 5 jaar). Rustige en afgesloten tuin. Goed uitgerust huis met moderne badkamers. De eigenaar is correct en duidelijk en spreekt zeer goed Nederlands. Een aanrader!

Mooie ruime woning het was een beetje opletten voor de langere personen. Helaas brak er een glasplaat bij het inleggen van een plastic fles in de oude koelkast, en deze was erg prijzig omdat deze wordt vervangen voor veiligheids-glas terwijl het een normale ruit was. Vooral de grote ruimtes beneden waren perfect en zeker de grote tafel in de woonkamer was een pre. Ruim voldoende wc´s en douch ruimtes. Goede uitval basis naar de grotten van Han, en een een restaurant tegenover de woning is het lekker eten en drinken.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen plus Baby dort, das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz. Den Grill haben wir nicht benutzt, aber die Terrasse lädt zum Sonnen, spielen und entspannen ein. Für einen Familienurlaub genau richtig mit vielen Ausflugszielen in der Umgebung.

Die Unterkunft war sauber und ordentlich. Die vier Schlafzimmer mit eigenen Toiletten und Badezimmer (teilweise auf dem Flur) waren perfekt für unser Familienwochenende (7 Personen und ein Hund) geeignet. In Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und Aufenthaltsraum war so viel Platz, dass wir ihn gar nicht komplett ausnutzen konnten. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank dafür!

My family had a great time at Yves house. The place offers several common and comfortable spaces. The kitchen is well equipped and the place is located in a perfect spot to visit interesting cities and natural areas. In "rural" houses, it is not unusual that cleaning is a bit more relaxed than in urban accommodations. But this is not the case of the Relais Houille. The house cleaning was excellent, even in the barbecue area. A great experience and a superb accommodation which I would definitively recommend without hesitation. Dankuvel/Merci Yves.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce gîte spacieux. La maison est accueillante, propre avec tout le confort nécessaire. Les enfants ont particulièrement appréciés la salle de jeux. Les lits sont confortables. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, de bons conseils et discrets. Si vous aimez la campagne, les balades, la nature, vous découvrirez un paysage magnifique. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir un beau temps. Gedinne se situe à une vingtaine de kilomètres de sites plus touristiques comme les grottes de Hans. Les routes sont agréables. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Nous avons été bien accueillis. Le gîte était spacieux et idéal pour une grande famille. Il a pu nous servir de refuge agréable car le temps n'était pas de la partie. Les enfants ont aimé la salle de jeux. Les lieux étaient bien équipés et très propres. Merci pour ce petit séjour!

We had a wonderful weekend in the house. Everything was clean and tidy and had plenty of space. A car is recommended. In front of the front door Parking is available. The kitchen was Equipped with the most necessary. We hope to be able to spend again a few days here.
