La Treille

Breakfast - we did not have. The room was professionally decorated and the view was exceptional. The sunrise in the morning just had to be photographed. The lady manager was always helpful both with our booking in and in the dining room. The food - well, don't eat anywhere else!

Nothing

The rooms were very spacious and it was very quiet.

There were some mosquitoes when we were there.

La gentillesse de la personne d’accueil.

Rien , même le côté légèrement suranné m’a séduit

Location was good with a private entry and a little terrace, just next to the Dordogne river and close to Sarlat and supermarkets at a driving distance. A kettle was provided by demand which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant that is attached and belongs to the same owner is absolutely superb, if you want a gourmet dinner for a relatively affordable price you should try it out.

The little house where we stayed was really outdated, as a 2 star hotel it should at least provide with fresh smelling bedding and towels and meet the bare minimum of functionality. Everything was damp and the shower was in a very bad condition. We stayed 4 nights and it was too much. The photos don’t represent the property.
