Tramway Cottage

The location was great, being an easy walk to the town, Port and a nearby supermarket. The heating was very cosy, once it was going.

The cottage was clean but in bad need of a refresh with chipped and cracked plates, dated utensils and no hair-dryer. As a couple becoming somewhat unsteady, the shower above the spa bath made it difficult to stand comfortably while showering and getting in and out was a challenge.

I think it was an amazing place to stay, private and comfortable Great cooking equipment and facilities Will recommend to others

I was disappointed that there was not hair dryer or bubble bath for the spa, and extra warm blankets are need for the colder months, extra towels would be great and to update stereo system for future stays 😁

The cottage had a beautiful feel to it and a very warm and romantic fireplace. Our host was easy to communicate with and was helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for eating in which we did.

We would have liked some thicker towels but overall everything was great.

It had a washing machine and dryer.

It is quite run down and needs to be refurbished. 2 of the lights didn’t work, minimal power points, back patio was covered in leaves, garden looks neglected, musty odour inside. Towels were very small and thin, shower head needs to be replaced. Too many things to mention, but generally needs a spruce up. We were disappointed when we arrived but tried to make the best of the situation as there was nothing else available.
