The Wilderness Lodge is located just outside Strahan, but everything was just a 5 minute drive away. The views from the property were stunning as it overlooks the bay. There was a walk down to the bay and one around the gardens. Try to find Bob if you can!
We found our stay there to be very relaxing and we could have stayed longer. When we come back to Strahan we will definitely stay here again.
The room itself was gorgeous, comfy bed and a very clean bathroom. It was easy to check in and out of with Des being a wonderful host. There is a communal kitchen which was well equipped and a communal lounge/dining room area, though we mostly had it to ourselves!
We can highly recommend The Wilderness Lodge to everyone.

Very relaxing location with wonderful gardens
Nothing really, maybe not a short walk to town so you needed your car to go anywhere.
