About this apartment rental
Ideal place to spend a holiday in the Marche hills between history, art, culture and gastronomy.
The house, part of an old house with an oil mill that belonged to my great-grandparents, is the result of the renovation of the warehouse to obtain our main home. This year we have adapted the systems for greater energy savings: photovoltaic panels, solar thermal and condensing boiler. It is the house I use with my family in the winter months.
The house is complete with everything from the washing machine to the dishwasher, from the hairdryer to the oven. There is a fireplace and a bright mezzanine. The bathroom has both a shower cubicle and a bathtub. The bedroom is quiet and cool with a large double bed. In addition to the entrance terrace there is another terrace facing east.
On the ground floor there is a service room for bicycle shelter.
In the garden there are fruit trees (apricots, plums, figs) if you happen when the fruits are ripe you can freely pick them

We chose the village because of its close proximity to the seaside towns (Pesaro, Fano...) and historical places (Urbino, Gradara...). There is a pizzeria in the village (nice pizza, nice price), and it is only a few minutes drive to a small supermarket.
The house is quiet, clean and well-equipped, with dishwasher, washing machine and wifi. The photos give a correct impression. There is a table and chairs on a small balcony to sit outside (from where you can see the sea), and parking space in front of the house.
Lucia and Maurizio gave us a warm and friendly welcome, and quickly helped with any problems. There were no figs left, but during the season, guests can help themselves to fruit on the trees in the garden. On leaving, we were given a bottle of their own olive oil - a nice gesture.
All-in-all, we can highly recommend this holiday home for people who wish to have a spacious location in close proximity to the sights of the Adriatic coast and the Marche.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment in Villagrande, Mombaroccio very much. It is very comfortable and well-equipped and spacious for a couple. It is well-positioned to go to the coast around Pesaro and Fano and swim, or explore villages inland and visit the very impressive walled medieval city of Urbino. The owners were great hosts and left fruit for us from the garden. Lucia and Maurizio (and their daughter and her husband) were very kind and provided us with lots of information about the area. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.
