Die Lage ist für die Brückenüberquerung fantastisch und an sich auch ruhig. Mit dem Auto hatten wir keine Parkprobleme. Sogar Fliegengitter waren im ganzen Haus. Toll!

Die wilden Hunde in dieser Gegend bellen die ganze Nacht und morgens fangen die Hähne an zu krähen. Dafür kann der Vermieter nun ganz sicher nichts. Aber man sollte Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen oder muss die Fenster in der Nacht schließen. Es gibt ja eine Klimaanlage.

Giovanni is echt zo’n lieve en behulpzame man! Een Engelssprekende vriendin kwam ons bij de auto verwelkomen om te vertalen. En samen brachten ze ons en onze bagage naar het appartement. Het appartement zelf is heerlijk! Aan de rand van het dorp, uitkijkend over natuur. Wij zagen wilde zwijnen en herten. Het ligt pal naast de hangbrug, ook een aanrader. En het dorp zelf is geweldig! Een echt authentiek Italiaanse ervaring. Een mega aanrader!

Very charming B&B in the small city of Sasso di Castalda. The B&B is located on "top" of the city, very close to the entrance to the Tibetan Bridge. The host Giovanni, and his co-host Nica, were very friendly giving good tips on restaurants and hiking opportunities. Breakfast was delivered in a basket at the door in the morning, and we enjoyed it on the stair in front of the apartment. It was no aircondition, however no problem as the temperature droppes at night at this altitude - nice breeze in the bedroom at night. Sasso di Castalda is small and with limited restaurants etc., however Ristopizza 85 is highly recommended, good quality food, very reasonably priced.

We did missed a balcony, outdoor place to sit, e.g. for breakfast. Due to narrow and steep streets you need to expect to park a bit far from the B&B, however Giovanni/Nica were helpful finding a spot and helping with luggage on arrival.
