Koh Chang Villa

We had a wonderful week in this villa on Koh Chang! Kevin was an amazing host – very helpful, always quick to respond, and ready to assist us with anything we needed. What really stood out was that he even checked in on us while he was in the hospital, just to make sure everything was okay. That’s truly not something you see every day! The villa itself was very clean and in great condition. The rooftop jacuzzi and grill were absolute highlights, and the pool was also fantastic – perfect for relaxing. The scooters Kevin organized for us made our stay even more enjoyable. We had so much fun exploring the island! The entire resort staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food and cocktails were simply amazing! We would come back anytime and highly recommend this place. Thank you for everything!

Schön ruhige Lage, direkt am Meer. Gut ausgestattet Küche & Gasgrill inkl. Whirlpool auf dem Dach. Sehr Saubere Betten & Handtücher liegen bereit. Ist sauberer wie in den meisten Hotels. Der Pool vor dem Haus ist Super für eine Abkühlung. Das Meer hatt ca. 3-5° Celsius mehr als der Pool.

The location was great, right in front of the shared pool. The rooftop hot tub was nice. Beach is rocky but a nice getaway from Bangkok. We only used the BBQ once because the hotel restaurant nextdoor had great food and drinks.

The villa was dirty when we arrived. We asked the owner to have it professionally cleaned, he came with a bucket and "cleaned it" himself. There were fire ants everywhere inside when we checked in. The owner said this is standard for a tropical island.. I went to 7/11 for a simple ant trap and solved the problem myself. One piece of the bathroom door was completely missing such that the door wouldn't close properly. Again, the owner said he would fix it himself.. But the baby was sleeping when he turned up. It seemed so inconvenient for him to come from the other side of the island. Yet, the closes 7/11 is also on the other side... A lot of small things made the stay more difficult - broken towel racks in the bathrooms, no where to hang wet pool/ beach towels, only 1 floor mat for 2 entrances, no handsoap in the bathrooms, no hand towel in the kitchen. There are other villas of similar quality, access to the same amenities, that are run by the hotel nextdoor. We would chose them if we decided to come back.
