Cosy Canal Studio is in easy walking distance to most touristy things. There are plenty of eateries close by, as well as a supermarket. We were there on a Saturday and the weekly artisan market was on in the square around the corner and had beautiful fresh produce.
The bed was comfortable with a nice shower.
Babette is a wonderful host, very helpful and a great communicator.
Cosy Canal Studio is in the basement of the building below street level. The steps down to it are steep. The entrance is into a laundry/storeroom, which isn't attractive or inviting. You can hear footsteps from upstairs and voices at times. The weather was exceptionally hot when we were there and only one window opened.

The location was absolutely perfect - it felt like we were only a ten minute walk from everything including the central station. There was a good amount of space for two people and Babette, who we had the pleasure of meeting briefly, was extremely helpful - offering to refresh the towels and allowing us to store our luggage after check out. The book of local recommendations was also great. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

Great location, about 10 minutes walk from central station. Ideal for couples looking for a very reasonably priced room. Really lovely owner who was always ready to help and very quick on responses via the booking.com chat. All the basic facilities covered, despite not having air conditioning it remained cool even on the hotter days and a fan is available in the room. The room was clean and comfortable for me and my partner. And they have a swing in the hallway like that’s a lot of fun
The only two things me and my partner thought could be improved was the shower grid didn’t cover the full width of the shower and that would cause quite a bit of water to run on the floor and just to have some bowels in the room. Other than that no issues at all
