About this villa rental
This villa is located just fifteen minutes from the center of Sorrento.
The strategic position makes it possible to reach the most important places to visit such as the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida and Naples
The large solarium has a pool overlooking Mount Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples, sunbeds, barbecue and table for dining al fresco.
The property is on two floors and can accommodate up to eight people.
On the ground floor is the living room, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, and a bathroom.
The first floor includes three bedrooms, two doubles and one twin and another bedroom where if necessary can be put two beds. In addition there is a bathroom with shower and bath.
The villa has a private parking for guests and A/C in all the bedrooms.
The last 150 meters to reach the villa are not very wide and the road is steep and narrow, so it is preferable to use a small or medium cars. As for luggage transportation there's staff that can help.

Neighbourhood and transport
Sorrento offers a wide range of services, it is well connected to other tourist resorts in the area such as: the Amalfi coast, the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, Capri, Naples, that can be reached by train, bus or ferry.
The city is mostly flat, you will find a wide choice of restaurants, bars and shops and the beaches or the port can be reached on foot or comfortably by lift.

A cash refundable deposit of 500 Euros must be provided upon arrival, it will be returned upon departure after an inspection takes place, in case of any damage.

The property sits high above Sorrento and looks down on the city and ocean. The sunsets are spectacular and the view both day and night are what initially drew us to the property. The pool and surrounding grounds are also impressive. The downside is the home is dated, but otherwise comfortable. It lacked basic essentials like salt/pepper, coffee, and a cheese grater. The power breaker went out one evening and it took us a bit to figure out how to turn it back on. All of this is really minor... the major downside is lack of ability to drive up to the property. We had a Maserati SUV and could not get up the driveway without the risk of damaging the car. The walk up and down every day was insane... when I say it was a workout - I'm not exaggerating. It's only 5 minutes if you dont stop to catch your breath... but it's straight up. We had to park on the street... and of course we got a ticket. We parked where they directed us to park... very frustrating. The host, David, and the owner Sara are lovely. They helped get our luggage up and down in a small little car. Wonderful people.

Owner and property manager were great and very helpful. The views are the best part of the VRBO. Also 4 bedrooms are a plus. No taxis will take you up the hill from the road so you have to walk up an extremely steep and long driveway/road. If you have healthy problems or arthritis it will be impossible to walk up it. A/C works great.

We all loved the villa.
We stayed for 5 nights in August with two teenage children.We all loved the villa.It is west facing with a gorgeous view of Sorrento and our favourite thing was watching the sunset behind Ischia each evening.We never tired of the view.The villa is up a steep hill which would be tricky to drive up in a large vehicle. We did not have a car and relied largely on the owner’s nephew for trips into town and to the supermarket. We also managed to get taxis back from town (but this was slightly tricky) - they dropped us off at the bottom of the steep driveway.The villa is large, cool and comfortable. The various outside seating areas, pretty gardens, grill and stunning view were our favourite things.All in all we had a lovely time in Sorrento!
