Le Bacchus

The moment I arrived, I knew this place was special. Located in a historic timber-framed house in the heart of Barr, it is only minutes away from restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and shops, or, if you long for peace and quiet, the vineyards surrounding the town (though some of the paths are a little steep!). While set in a traditional Alsatian house, the apartment offers every comfort and amenity one could need: a stovetop, kettle, dishwasher, fridge, and even a record player with a selection of vinyl records (Breton folk music was my No 1). there is parking in the courtyard and everything in the centre can be reached walking. Barr is a very pretty little town and well worth a nice stroll, My time there passed far too quickly. The hosts were incredibly kind, and I truly hope to come back one day, because there are still so many hikes left on my list. Merci. P.S. the hosts own a winery - don't miss out on the wine tasting offered!

La situation géographique, près de beaucoup de villages de Noël que nous voulions visiter et près de Strasbourg. Le village de Barr est très agréable, l’emplacement de l’appart dans le village (au calme) et près des commerces. La place de parking tjrs dispo. L’appartement est dans une maison de village typiquement alsaciens , bien agencé, propre et confortable. Nous avons apprécié aussi la platine avec quelques 33 tours pour notre plus grand plaisir.. La gentillesse de la propriétaire qui nous a accueilli avec une bonne bouteille et nous a donné de bonnes informations pour pouvoir profiter de notre séjour pleinement.

L'appartamento è come descritto,molto accogliente,bello e spazioso. Il letto è molto comodo,con biancheria ottima e una vista sui vigneti meravigliosa. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile,ci ha accolti personalmente e ha risolto subito un piccolo problema al nostro arrivo. È stata molto gradita la bottiglia di vino regalata e prodotta dal proprietario. Sotto l'appartamento c'è il loro negozio di vino. Molto comodo il parcheggio privato all'interno della corte interna. Sicuramente lo consiglierei
