    While most tourists will opt for a hotel quite central to be near typical South-East Asian city amenities like beer bars, massage shops, convenience stores and the like, those who are willing to live more locally will find no better spot than Aniza! Tucked away behind a bustling street market, Aniza offers spacious rooms with high ceilings and a myriad of lighting options that make adjusting your sleep schedule for early morning temple treks a breeze. Despite the room size, the aircon is up to the task, and rooms have multiple sockets by the bedside. The staff are incredibly welcoming, though the family dog is more trusting of some than others (*cry*); at different times you'll find different family members chilling in the main floor area (on their gorgeous carved wood furniture) and all of them are happy to help any way they can. I arrived at 8pm and wanted to rent a bike for 5am the next morning and they made it happen with no issue! Speaking of which, for those who intend to bike to the temples, Aniza's location is actually a perk, as it's closer to where you want to be for everything except Roluos (if you get to that point in your temple trekking). Given the exceptional value Aniza represents, I will definitely be booking here again the next time I come to Siem Reap!

    Really enjoyed staying at Aniza. The host was very kind and gave us fruit on multiple occasions. The market is right in front of the guesthouse, which is very convenient. We ended up extending our stay by another five nights.

    Very nice, clean accommodations. The staff took care of me even when I booked the dates wrong. Location is on a busy market street with fish and meat and vegetables. It may not be for everybody, and I wish they had an elevator, but I enjoyed my stay and it was well worth the price.
