Lovely large room with comfortable beds and pillows. We were on the ground floor but there wasn’t a problem with noise at all. Room felt the most homely we’ve had in our travels. Nice lamps, pictures and even plants. Large tv with lots of channels. Great location. Would definitely recommend The Magic Sponge.
Fridge would have been a bonus but not a problem. Missed having a mirror by a plug to dry my hair but again that’s a minor issue.

I never had such a warm welcome before, William greeted us with such friendliness and a cold beer. He was very helpful all the time, Breakfast was amazing, I can definitely recommend the Eggs Benedict! The location is great and only a short walk to the river! I can highly recommend this very special place

Fabulous location, walk-able to many restaurants and to the river. I had some great conversations with the owner and other guests; it's a good place to socialize if you want to. As a solo traveler this was a big bonus for me.
The restaurant is wonderful ... lots of choices and everything was delicious. Happy hour 5-7 daily! :-)
Room was basic, clean and provisioned with water, electric kettle etc. WiFi was fast and totally reliable! This is rare in my experience of Cambodia. TV has lots of channels with movies, sports, etc. All-in-all it's a wonderful place to stay and explore the area. William is a great host. Five stars!
I thought the beds were a bit firm for my taste ... but this is a common issue in SE Asia.
