Tranquil and relaxing

Very quiet and comfortable. Miriam and her husband were extremely kind and recommended lots of places to go. The swimming pool and grounds were perfect for the very hot weather we experienced. Lots of festivals in the area too.

Very good

We really enjoyed the old house and the surroundings, made the trip to the countryside even more genuine. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It was very quaint and we had some really nice guests to talk to. The hosts were nice, but I couldn't reach them to say goodbye and leave the keys.

The breakfast was the same every single day. If you are to stay for more than a couple of days, I believe it is a disadvantage. Sadly they didn't provide any shampoo. Since the property is not cheap, I believe a 2€ shampoo from the supermarket would be a nice addition.

Wonderful property. The home was set up with everything you need. Very clean. The pool is fantastic. Host is very friendly and helpful.

Some of the rooms got a bit too warm in the summer heat. Staircases are a bit risky with small children.

Séjour reposant, dépaysant et authentique

Le côté chaleureux des propriétaires, le calme de la maison et son charme. Il y a énorme jardin avec une très belle piscine, les chambres sont très spacieuses et le petit déjeuner offert c’est délicieux ! On se sent comme à la maison mais ailleurs je recommande vivement cet endroit !!

Séjour agréable avec le calme de la campagne.

Le calme avec un jardin reposant et une piscine agréable surtout pendant les fortes chaleurs. De plus la maison reste aussi très fraîche, c’est très appréciable.

La télévision ne fonctionnait pas correctement, nous ne pouvions pas regarder la majorité des chaînes.

We hebben een uitstekend verblijf gehad in deze B&B, gelegen in een prachtige en rustige omgeving. Het ontbijt was meer dan in orde: uitgebreid, vers en met oog voor detail. De kamers waren netjes, goed uitgerust en de bedden lagen heerlijk — alles wat je nodig hebt voor een zorgeloos verblijf.

Persoonlijk ben ik misschien net iets meer gewoon dat de gastvrouw (of gastheer) wat meer aanwezig is voor een praatje of tips over de buurt, maar dat is puur een persoonlijke voorkeur. Voor wie op zoek is naar rust en privacy is dit juist een groot pluspunt.

Le cadre tranquille. Le petit déjeuner sous les arbres centenaires. L’amabilité et l’accèdes hôtes. L’ambiance provençale. La piscine d’eau salée.

Oui mais .. un peu de souplesse ..

Très bonne literie , une très belle bâtisse, décoration charmante

J’ai demandé à arriver une heure plus tôt , j avais fait beaucoup de route et il faisait très chaud. Mais on m’a bien précisé que l’arrivée dans la chambre était à 16h. J ai quand même pu me baigner un peu en attendant . Pour découvrir à 16h que la chambre était déjà prête à 15h quand je suis arrivée! Un peu plus de flexibilité aurait été vraiment appréciée, cela se fait dans les hôtels. C’est dommage, car tout le reste était bien .

Séjour en demi-teinte

Le cadre est agréable, la piscine est top, la maison est bien située et l’accueil de départ avait laissé présager un séjour chaleureux. Nous avons aussi apprécié la possibilité (au début) d’utiliser la cuisine partagée, ce qui correspondait parfaitement à notre façon de voyager avec notre fille en bas âge. Nous remercions également "l'homme" de la maison pour son attitude respectueuse et sa capacité à reconnaître ce qui n’allait pas.

Accueil cordial au départ, mais ambiance vite dégradée par une attitude injustement sèche et condescendante de la dame. Le double discours sur l’utilisation de la cuisine collective (autorisée mais reprochée) a contribué à ce malaise. On nous recommandera sans doute une formule “gîte”, pourtant cette organisation avec cuisine et frigo partagés nous convenait parfaitement. Malgré notre respect des lieux, nous nous sommes sentis perçus comme une gêne. En tant qu’hôte, offrir un accueil chaleureux et respectueux fait partie intégrante du rôle, quelles que soient les circonstances. C’est une responsabilité professionnelle, pas une variable d’humeur. Expérience décevante, nous ne reviendrons pas.

Charmante Unterkunft auf dem Lande

Bei der Unterkunft handelt es sich um ein ehemaliges Gutshaus auf dem Lande. Es ist geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet und auch der parkähnliche Garten mit alten Platanen, mit Katze und drei Freiheit liebenden Hühnern strahlt einen ganz besonderen Charme aus. Wir hatten ein Zimmer, dass über recht steile Stufen erreichbar war (der alten Bauweise geschuldet). Es gibt aber auch ebenerdige Zimmer. Zu unserem Zimmer gehörte ein Wannenbad mit Duschmöglichkeit. Bei „Montjoia“ handelt es sich um eine Mischung aus Hotelzimmer und Ferienwohnung. Daher ist ein Zimmerservice nicht zu erwarten. Dafür stand die Nutzung einer voll ausgestatteten Küche mit Kühlschrank und Waschmaschine zur Verfügung. Das umfangreiche Frühstück wurde im Essensraum angerichtet und war sehr reichhaltig: Eier, Räucher- und Kochschinken, div. Käsesorten, Müsli, Joghurt, Obst, div. Süßaufstriche, unterschiedliche stets frische Brot- und Brötchensorten (u. a. Baguette und Croissants und auch anderes Süßgebäck). Dank der Kaffee/ Espressomaschine und heißer Milch konnte man sich selbst je nach Bedürfnis versorgen. Ebenso konnte man sich selber Tee zubereiten. Bei schönem Wetter stand der mit weichem Salzwasser betriebene Pool (5x15m) zur Verfügung. Die Gastgeber, vor allen Dingen die Herrin des Hauses, waren von Anfang bis Ende unseres Aufenthaltes (6 Tage) freundlich, zugewandt und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns ausgesprochen willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Vielen Dank!
