Excellent staff who made an effort to let me check in way before the normal time. Since I didn’t have a padlock at that time, they watched my belongings until I returned. The hostel is well connected, close to L3, which runs through the city centre and connects easily to L5, another important metro line. It’s quiet at night, too.
The most important drawback is that there’s no privacy in your room. There were no curtains, so everybody could see through you at night. Also, it would be helpful if the staff discussed the house rules with guests during check-in. I had a roommate who didn’t put his phone on vibrate and left it in the room several times, so when someone called him, no one could stop the noise. All his notifications were on, so you could hear them. Then, at 5.45 am, he started sorting out his big suitcase! He didn’t stop for 30 minutes, despite me politely asking him to do all that outside the room. As a result, I couldn’t sleep well. I picked a room with 4 beds to avoid noise, but I ended up encountering it the most, which killed the purpose.

Friendly and helpful staff providing 24/7 reception, hostel with kitchen & fridge facilities, clean and quiet overall. The location is very convenient, connected to Les Corts metro station, which means it is 15' away from Place Espana, within 30' from the centre, less than 60' from the airport. Recommended for budget stays, and for work stays needing connection to Fira expo centre.
Room sound insulation may be improved, some generic maintenance may improve further.

The staff was nice and the room was as expected.
The shower room was extremely filthy. Air vents filled with dust and bad odour coming from the showers.
