The Lighthouse

The real charm of this B&B is the wonderful host, Dermot. He makes you feel welcome. Great tips around the area and makes a delicious oatmeal with secret ingredients. The B&B is very well located - you can walk to the town centre - and a great base for exploring the peninsula. The rooms are a bit on the small side but I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely building and grounds with perfect views of Dingle harbour.

Apex roof in room 1 was a bit of a problem for my tall partner. No cooked breakfast, no fridge in the room and the owners were not onsite except for breakfast and room tidy although they could be contacted by phone.

The breakfast was good when it was finally ready for us. Nice view.

There was no one there when we arrived so I messaged them. Another party was also waiting. There was no answer so we were locked out for about 30 min. Same thing the next morning when breakfast was not set out. Someone seems to have a time management problem. Although some people may like the owner's input, we did not like his trying to talk us into tours and buying in certain shops. Our friends at first were put into a room that was not clean after a cat stayed in it. They were moved into a better room.
