About this house rental
Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are 3 to 4 ferry boats going to and from the Island every day. As there are few hotels on the island, mostly private homes are rented out in the summer months. Most of these homes are built from local stone, giving Kea its unique architecture. Kea a holiday to remember!
This charming house, is part of a small and private development ( 7 houses ), traditionally built with local-rusted colored stone, all located on the top of the rocky bay of Koundouros, surrounded by rich greenery. It is the heart of the very unique windmill scenery of Koundouros Bay. The house is ideal for two couples, or a family with two children who want tranquility and direct access to the sea, whilst having the possibility to explore the island’s history ( archeological museum, ancient temple ruins, ancient footpaths ) , hidden beaches and rich nature ( royal oak forest ). The house is walking distance from the pebble beach of the bay and from the crystal blue waters just below the house.
The property has been tastefully and stylishly decorated giving one a feeling of peace and tranquility. The living room, which has a large corner sofa and dining area open directly on to the terrace with its breathtaking view of the Aegean. Near the dining area is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with all the amenities one might need. Leading off the living room is the master bedroom with a king size bed and an amazing sea view, a second bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with a shower.
Outside the living room is a large terrace offering an amazing sea view. You can sit on one of the deck chairs and hear the waves gently breaking on the rocks below. Part of the terrace is covered by a pergola, covering the outdoor dining area and barbecue area. At the end of the terrace is a private access to the sea. On the rock platform below there is an umbrella and chairs.
The house will be de-sanitized, including the air-conditioning units before guests arrive and after their departure.
Amenities: Internet, air-conditioning, mosquito blinds, coffee filter machine, kettle, sandwich maker, refrigerator, oven, hobs, dishwasher, washing machine, CD player, stereo, barbecue, parking.
No smoking is allowed in the house, pets are not allowed, no events or parties. Guests are kindly requested to turn off the air-conditioning units when they are not in the house. Guests are also kindly requested to respect "quiet time" from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and after 12 at night.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Steinferienhaus mit tollem Meerblick und großer Terasse. Sehr ruhige Lage, privater Zugang zur Badebucht. Für Ruhesuchende sehr zu empfehlen.

Beautiful property with stunning view. We stayed in October which was very much the low season, with a few restaurants open and not very many places to get supplies from. That said, the apartment was amazing, the view is stunning, and we love the private access to the sea. At this time of year it was still plenty warm enough to swim in the sea. We very much enjoyed having all the beaches on the island pretty much to ourselves. The apartment is beautiful and well serviced. The only slight concern for young children is that there is a low wall on the Veranda, which Has the possibility of being a hazard.

Up to expectations. Beautiful house, well appointed, outstanding large balcony with amazing view. Swimming perfect at bottom of rocky garden in deep blue sea. Owners were very hospitable, exceedingly generous, and philosophical with story telling unprecented. More expensive than anticipated, challenging roads but worth every minute of our 30 day stay.
