About this house rental
Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. Kea is a hidden gem in the Cycladic Islands and has its own unique style. As there are very few hotels on the island, private houses are rented out, most or all of them made of local stone. The island has 45 beaches, most of them accessible by boat. Kea is the ideal island for those that want to relax and have a great vacation.
The house is on the waterfront with easy access to the beach of Otzia. The front part of the house was built 200 years ago and though renovated, maintains its original charm. Guests just have to open the front gate, take a few steps and dive into the blue waters of Otzia. Just 100 meters away is a nice Greek restaurant and another 100 meters a second. An ideal house for those that just want to lay back and relax.
The house has a large kitchen area with a sofa, fireplace and a dining table for four. There is also a large bedroom with a double bed and a modern bathroom. The second bedroom is part of the original house with its curved stone ceiling and half a meter thick walls, 2 single beds and the original fireplace, where family meals were cooked 200 years ago.
Outside there is a large terrace with covered seating and dining areas, where one can sit and enjoy the sea view.
The house will be de-sanitized, including the air-conditioning units before guests arrive and after their departure.
Amenities: Flat screen TV, internet, WiFi, parking, air-conditioning, solar panels for hot water, heating, cable TV, refrigerator, oven, hobs, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, filter coffee, toaster, Coco mat mattresses and sheets, washing machine, parking, linen and towels provided, dishes and utensils provided, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, soaps provided, baby cot, baby high chair, beach chairs.
Facilities: one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with 2 single beds, ability for third bed in the second bedroom, two bathrooms with a showers.

A charming beach house..nice old style kitchen with very large fridge/freezer..very easy to prepare meals.
Mosquito nets on all windows and doors. Decoration is understated and simple as a seaside house should be . Lovely terraces to sit out on and a shaded seating area and table. Beautiful views.
Shingle beach in front of house and rocks to be avoided on entering the sea....the plus side being that people tend to go further down the beach where it is sandy!
Very helpful and friendly owners who live in house above who spoilt us with veg from their garden.
Maria the agent was very helpful and efficient.
