Hacienda La Pacífica Eco-Lodge

Beautiful location with cute rooms and great food. Staff was super kind, 10/10 recommend!

I liked the large pool, the choice of air-conditioning or no air-conditioning in the restaurant, the large room, the comfortable bed, the forested grounds, the friendly staff, and that the property was gated.

I wish there were snack foods in the store, the floor tiles were lighter so I could find my dropped items, and the food in the restaurant was better. The food was the most disappointing.

Hacienda La Pacífica Eco-Lodge was a surprise. Canas itself isn't much to look at. It is dry and hot, but Hacienda La Pacífica Eco-Lodge was a nice large property right off the highway that was well landscaped and well shaded. We were happy to find a good number of typical creatures on site, like deer, agoutis, ignuanas, howler monkeys and many bird species. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. The rooms were air conditioned and clean, totally adequate. The family loved our quick overnight here on our way from LIR to Monteverde.

It's a pretty place with animals on the property. The dinner was pretty good.

It has an event center. The lady in reception said there was a 'party'. She said it would be over at 8pm and we wouldn't hear it. Both were not true! It was a loud wedding reception that got louder at 8:30pm. We couldn't get to sleep, and complained, but nothing changed. It finished about 9pm. We are in our late 60's and it probably would be OK with those who stay up late.
