Nice basic room, very clean, comfy bed, good shower - good value for the price. I had a late check-in (organised in advance) and the staff were very helpful with this.

The cost of the room was quite reasonable, however being told you have to have your meals in your room and not the restaurant was not good. There was no table and chairs to sit at together, just two benches with a chair at each, at opposite sides of the room facing the wall. When we said we'd have breakfast in the restaurant we were told no, people have it in their room. The night we arrived we had to have tea in our room as they had a convention, tea cost nearly $100 for two meals that we had to eat sitting at opposite ends of the room facing the wall. Not good enough. The bed was like sleeping on concrete, so bad that on our second night we left at 1am in the morning to head home to Hobart as we just could not sleep on the mattress.
