The site itself is beautifully maintained, safe, and well organized. The pool is beautiful and clean. The mobile homes are simple but clean, functional, and equipped with good air conditioning, which made the stay comfortable.

Several aspects did not match expectations for the price and advertised facilities. This is a place designed for families with children even very small ones, but some basic conveniences were missing, such as changing rooms in the public bathrooms and showers in the public beach area. We were also informed that sunbeds and umbrellas were included, but this was not the case. In practice, there were only a couple of small designated areas with sun umbrella and sunbeds, which were very expensive (€55 per day) and one of these areas was closed during our stay. Although the beach is described as private, access from multiple points outside the place meant it became extremely crowded in the late morning and afternoon making it difficult to find space. Also the swimming pool was advertised as free while there weren't enough sunbeds for all clients and a big part of them were charged by the bar at 30€ per day. Service at the bars and restaurants was generally poor while prices were high. Wi-Fi quality was also very poor and unreliable, to the point where streaming was not possible many times. In addition, the animal farm, which was advertised as open in June, was not yet operational during our stay and only opened in July. Overall, the location is pleasant and the accommodation itself is decent, but given the cost, we expected a higher level of service, clearer communication about facilities, and better overall infrastructure.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Mobil Home Vacances within the grounds of Prairies de la Mer - Riviera Villages. The resort itself is fantastic, with direct beach access, excellent facilities, beautiful landscaping, restaurants, bars, shops, sports activities, and everything needed for a relaxing family holiday. Our mobile home was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The air conditioning worked well, Wi-Fi was available, and the accommodation provided a practical base for access to the beach. The Mobil Home Vacances team was cheerful, helpful and easy to deal with throughout our stay.

One point future guests should be aware of is that these mobile homes are independently operated and sublet within the larger resort rather than being accommodation directly managed by Les Prairies de la Mer. As a result, the location of individual units generally reflects the price paid. Our unit was situated close to one of the internal roads and the recycling and waste collection area. This was not a major issue, but it did mean there was regular foot traffic nearby. The resort has a wonderfully social and relaxed holiday atmosphere, with families and groups enjoying themselves well into the evening. Depending on the location of your mobile home, you may hear people walking past and chatting until the early hours. Light sleepers may therefore want to bring earplugs or consider booking one of the premium-located units if available.

The nightly rate was pretty reasonable, but the hidden extras deep in the fine print felt deceptive and scammy. Thirty euros for a night for a sheet and a couple of towels is outrageous and should be clearly advertised in advance -- or even better, included. You shouldn't have to dig through the fine print on booking.com to make sure your room comes with the bare essentials, and that bare minimum equipment shouldn't add 50% to the cost of the nightly stay!
