Perfectly comfortable holiday retreat in idyllic surroundings

The only issue was that it was too hot (due to a heatwave), the rooms were not air conditioned, and the hotel provided electric fans, which were not sufficient to combat the heat.

I would like to make a special mention of 3 members of the hotel staff who were wonderful, and who contributed greatly to the wonderful stay we had during two nights at the hotel: Emily, Geneviève, and Malene. These three staff members went out of their way to be helpful to us, far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect. They were the three people who made our stay so enjoyable! Whether it was help with restaurant reservations, tips about places to visit, or serving our morning breakfast, their cheery outgoing personalities made all the difference for us!

The facilities were very good in terms of quality, size, and cleanliness. This is 90% of any guest's hopes. Every hotel has areas they could improve, and this hotel, while not being an exception, only had two points that could be improved...neither of which have anything to so with the people. 1. The water pressure in the shower of our room was very low and could be increased. 2.) There were 4 charging stations for electric cars, each with two places to attach electric cars, however, only one of the 8 was working which means anyone wanting to recharge their car could face a potential challenge. We did not face a challenge, luckily, and the station worked perfectly. (We were told that many requests have been made to the company responsible to repair their charging stations, but that the hotel's requests had been ignored.)
