This is a very convenient unit in 1st dist of Paris. It is very clean and you can walk to the major attractive sites. And also it is close to every thing you need, the public transit, the grocery store, the restaurants, and so on. We were glad to find this place to stay and had the time for a quality vacation.

i am giving this place a 4 star simply because it is not air/ conditioned. Hence the tale of seasons. I booked at the hottest point of the year and it was difficult to sleep because the outside noise from late night partygoers is quite loud. The windows needed to be opened for some relief. And as previously mentioned in another review, the back room is quiet but if you open the windows, you get funky odors from restaurant fan extractors.
All that said, the host is very kind and the place is charming. The rooms were clean and the location is superb. Since we were there in the heat wave, we were unable to cook, though the kitchen is more than adequate for preparing meals.
I would safely give this place a 5 star from September - May. The windows shut and the noise is no problem at all. And the back bedroom is very nice.
The only other thing that could use a tweak is the vanity lighting in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have had more lighting.
Bottom line: I would stay here again without hesitation from September- May. It really is a nice place!

Good central location, only drawback is noise from bars in the street which didn't bother us in the daytime and double glazing cut a lot of it out. Bedroom was quiet as at the back, but problem was smell of cooking from neighbouring extractor fans, if we opened the bedroom window.
Owner was slow in providing address and access details.
