We booked the villa with the private pool, The view was spectacular, the villa was bild according to local traditional architecture and was furnished with traditional furnitures of ecxellent taste. The hosts were very nice and friendly but the best of all was the breakfast. It was not included in the villa's price but it was worth paying for.

The pool water was very cold, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the superb view, and at the end we did not care that it was cold.

Overall, we really have no particular reason to be dissatisfied with the facilities and amenities offered by the property. Of course, if we tried hard enough, we could probably find fault with a perfectly innocent fence post, but we see absolutely no reason to do so this time. 😊 The location was excellent, the swimming pool was fully operational, and the view from our villa's balcony was exactly as promised in the property description. All the kitchen equipment worked properly, and everything was clean, well-maintained, and of good quality. Our villa was arranged over two floors, with the bedroom upstairs. And there are two particularly good things worth mentioning. First, we enjoyed a wonderful sea view straight from our bed, through the doors leading to a small balcony. We didn't even have to get up to make sure the sea was still where it belonged. 😊 Second, the upstairs bedroom had its own separate shower and toilet. A very practical arrangement, especially if you have no desire to take up mountaineering in the middle of the night by navigating the rather steep staircase down to the ground floor and back again. All in all, our verdict is simple: everything lived up to what was promised and what we expected. And in the world of hotels and holiday accommodation, that is not always as obvious as one might think.

There are, however, two things we would like to mention. First, we had expected the restaurant and bar located on the property grounds to be open. Our idea was quite simple – to avoid having to drive into town every evening and instead enjoy the magnificent panoramic views with a glass of wine, either at the restaurant or on our villa's balcony. Unfortunately, it turned out that the restaurant had already closed for the season. A notice displayed outside made this perfectly clear, announcing that guests would be welcomed back next spring. So both the restaurant and the bar remained closed throughout our entire stay. To be fair, however, this may well have been beyond the accommodation's control. Second, we never quite managed to resolve a few seemingly simple everyday matters. We wanted to ask the staff for a little sugar for our morning coffee, as well as some salt and pepper to prepare breakfast. We had even been naive enough to assume that such kitchen "luxuries" would already be provided in the apartment. 😊 However, not only were these items missing, but nobody from the staff ever responded to our request to provide them. Of course, a shortage of sugar, salt, and pepper is hardly a catastrophe of global proportions.

Dat na 1 Oktober het restaurant/bar niet meer open is. Gezien je op een hoog punt zit met niks aan restaurants, bars of supermarkt om je heen ben je aangewezen op een auto of de taxi om naar het eerste dorp te gaan. Dit is lopend ruim 20 minuten.
