We had a pleasant stay overall and found this property to be charming, comfortable, and very well managed. We arrived quite late in the evening, and the self-check-in process was straightforward. The owner was extremely responsive and provided clear instructions before our arrival, making everything easy despite the late check-in. Communication throughout was excellent. The apartment itself is cozy and full of character. It feels more like staying in a traditional grandparents' home than in a modern rental, which we enjoyed. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the view. Waking up in the morning and having breakfast on the balcony while looking at the mountains was absolutely beautiful and one of the best parts of our stay. The property also offers several amenities that we did not expect, including a sauna, a small library, and a communal music room. There is free parking available. The location is practical, with easy access by car. The road in front of the property can be a little noisy at times, but it also makes getting in and out very convenient. One feature we appreciated was the layout of the bathroom, with the toilet separated from the shower area, which made getting ready much easier. The property also stood out for several thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome. We found coffee capsules ready for our first morning, fresh apples, baby wipes, a small sewing kit, shower caps, and other useful items that travelers often need but forget to pack. These little details showed genuine care for guests and added to the overall experience. The towels were also spotless and felt fresh and well maintained, reflecting the high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. Overall, this is a charming and unique place with stunning mountain views, excellent communication from the owner, convenient parking, and plenty of character. As long as you are comfortable with stairs and are not particularly tall (or stay in other rooms), it is a lovely place to stay.

There are a few things future guests should be aware of. We stayed in the apartment on the top floor, and while it is lovely, I would not recommend it for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. The staircase is quite narrow (the steps are relatively small and carpeted, making it challenging to carry heavier luggage up and down). I would also not recommend this apartment for taller guests. My boyfriend is 187 cm tall, and the sloped ceilings were a constant challenge. There are exposed wooden support beams in several areas of the apartment, including the living room/kitchen, and especially the bedroom. He had to be very careful not to hit his head. The kitchen sink area was particularly uncomfortable because of the low ceiling height, and the shower felt somewhat cramped for him as well. At 170 cm tall, I did not have any issues, but taller guests should consider this. The mattresses were extremely soft. We generally prefer softer mattresses, but even for us they were softer than expected. Guests with back problems or those who prefer firmer beds may find them uncomfortable. One aspect that added unnecessary stress to the departure process was the requirement to sort and dispose of all garbage ourselves before check-out. We were asked to separate the waste by type and carry it out ourselves. While this may be common in some vacation rentals, we booked this property through Booking.com as hotel-style accommodation and were surprised by this requirement. Since we were staying in the top-floor apartment, it meant carrying the garbage down the narrow stairs along with our luggage on departure day. It wasn't a major issue, but it did make the check-out process less convenient than expected, particularly considering the price of the stay.

Wonderful host, gorgeous area, and close to the ski lifts. Our room/apartment was cosy and home like, with everything we needed. There property also had both a library/reading room ( with some beautiful books, and board games), as well as a sauna/wellness area to make coming in out of the cold even better. On top of that, I cannot express how welcome we were made to feel. The accommodation was great, and the host, incredible.

Honestly the property was great. There aren’t lots of food options in super close walking distance (we visited in winter), so if visiting without a car, I recommend either researching your food options in advance, or just bringing some groceries for cooking

No kettle , no heating . The heating wasn't turned on apparently for some strange reason .
