Villa Bona Dubrovnik

Appartement/hotel bien situé, à 15/20 min à pied de la vieille ville. Piscine et Clim très appréciées. Ana a été accueillante et disponible. Elle a été très arrangeante pour la gestion de notre arrivée et départ.

De hosts waren ontzettend lief, behulpzaam en meedenkend. Anna ( dochter) was zoals mijn eigen dochter. Tony ( vader) heeft ons opgehaald van de haven en gebracht naar de luchthaven. Met Tony kun je praten over van alles. De familie voelde ook echt als familie. Vanuit onze kamer hadden we een fantastisch uitzicht op het oude Dubrovnik en de zee. Zo wil je elke dag wel wakker worden. We hadden een avondvlucht, we mochten in het zwembad, ons douchen en opfrissen en ook ons eten in de koelkast bewaren.

Ik stootte steeds mijn hoofd in de badkamer, vanwege schuin dak.

The room was nice, clean, well furnished with everything you might need. The view was good, as it was top floor of the house. It has a pool, which we didn't use, but it seemed nice and clean. It is situated in relatively short walk to the old town.

There were two main issues: 1. Very difficult communication - after the reservation, we received in a message here in booking some information regarding the stay and FOUR phone numbers for contact. Upon replying back almost immediately on the message, no answer was provided there until 2-3 hours AFTER we have already checked in. Of all the numbers provided they ansewred only one, after long ringing. No text were answered, although some number were labelled as "WhatsApp" and "Viber" 2. The air conditioning - that was the biggest issue for us. Upon arrival the AC was not working and as mentioned, it was a top floor in a sunny 32+ degrees day. It was very hot in the apartment. Didn't think much of it at the time, just switched in on and in 2-3 hours it was fine. The bigger problem was, that there was a note on the front door, that said "please switch off all light and AC upon leaving the apartment", which is very strange and I did not do it, because as I said it was hot summer day on top floor, but I at least lowered it, so it works less. The unpleasant surprise was, that upon returning to the room, the AC was switched off, which was terrible, as the temperature have become least 26-27 degrees in the room, so no way to fall asleep. The bigger issue for us was that this means that someone entered in our room without our consent to switch it off, which is a big No-No for us. Its their apartment, but we paid to use it, so if I want the AC to work, it should work 24/7, its not like the apartment was 50EUR per night..
