Sahid Raya Hotel & Convention Yogyakarta

The breakfast was amazing and the staffs were very friendly. Sahid offer free parking for guests which is very convenient. The location is perfect with many shops and restaurants nearby and it's value for money. We also managed to hold a celebration for our parent 50th anniversary and the event team was amazing. Everything just look perfect as it meant to be. We really happy with the services provided.

Just small note for the staff when cleaning the room to consistently check and re-fill the amenities like toiletries and so on in the room and also perhaps to consider replace pillows as they are hard to sleep on and the towels - they are clean but perhaps too old, need replacement! Perhaps more gyms equipment is needed and have them in a room with Air-con, as it is too hot to have them outside. Other than that everything else is perfect!

The staff was nice and kind. Willing to help and always ready to help. The foods for room service are amazing. We also able to pay with card, cash or qris, which is so convenient. All the food we've ordered are always delicious. We ordered the same foods several times and the quality and taste were not change. House keepings are amazing. They even asked if they were allowed to go inside when we just went out. They also politely asked when was the right time for them to clean the room when they saw us come too early to the hotel. My family went out early in the morning and sometimes went back in 2 hours for change. The front office was super nice and helpful. My English-speaking husband finds no difficulty in communicating with them. They also helped us to do an early check-in for my mum (for this room). I like they always added my favourite childhood food for breakfast (bubur sumsum & ketan hitam). Plus plus for their jamu (my husband named it "jungle drink"), we love it.

Yes, some of the corners in the building need a little upgrade. Our floor looks older than 2 floors below us. Especially in this room, where my mum stayed, the air-conditioner leaked so badly. The elevators need to be fixed, it said 1,000 kg / 11 people. But when it was just 8 people with no luggage it said full. As an international guess, we hoped they also catered more for the international guests. My husband couldn't use the bidet, and a bit shocked knowing that there was not a single new toilet paper in our room, we needed to call the front office to provide us, and they came with just one toilet paper.

I had a wonderful stay at Sahid Raya Hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The hotel’s central location made it very convenient to explore the city, with easy access to tourist attractions, dining spots, and souvenir shops. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were always helpful and attentive. The restaurant also served delicious meals that I truly enjoyed. Highly recommended!

The room was not very spacious and felt a bit dated. There were also some minor issues like low water pressure that could be improved for a better experience.

The bathroon not suit for bathroom without shower curtain, once take a shower then water all over the floor. The towel mat is too small, tjhe closet wasn't clean enough ,
