Rodos Star Hotel

We had a room with private pool, this was fantastic with the very hot weather we had whilst there. The variations and quality of the food for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main restaurant is amazing. There was definitely something there for everyone including veg options. The staff are lovely, all the staff including the cleaners always are friendly. The little shop on site has a little bit of everything, really helpful.

I had thought having a private pool would be peaceful, however the families on both sides screamed and shouted all day long, took my loungers and parasol and just made it a little stressful in general. Nothing the Hotel could do here except maybe an adult only block with the private pools? The snack bar in the afternoon isn't really much so dont count on it, a singular tray of ham and cheese, once it's gone its gone. The Hotel is up a hill, we knew this and it would have been just fine for me but we were with other family members less mobile. Taxis are advertised as being available from the town.... they're absolutely not, in fact several locals laughed when we asked. Strangely, the shower had no doors? No idea why but another member of our group said same about their room. Not really a big deal but the entire bathroom flooded each time we showered and that was with us trying to be really careful

Amazing place to stay. The staff & manager are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are nice with air con and the private pool is a dream. Large hotel pool area with a bar is a great place to relax. There is a convenient shop at reception so you don’t have to go into town for essentials. 20 min walk to Afandou beach. Can’t wait to come here again

It was a lovely setting.The food was fresh.We got more than we expected.Lovely people.

The shower in the room doesn’t have a high pressure and all the water leaks out.

Pool area was ok but very full.

Our room did not have sea view as promised,. We were given an upgrade on our arrival as a problem with room we should have had, but next morning told to vacate that room immediately as it was not the room we had paid for, this after we had unpacked and settled in the night before. The food and drink in the all inclusive package was extremely poor. The staff especially in the bar were rude and unfriendly. Not a hotel we will revisit.
