We stayed at Botel Racek for 4 nights during our trip to Prague after it was recommended by a friend, and we're so glad we chose it. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the daily housekeeping kept everything spotless throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice to start the day. We also ate dinner on the boat several times, and the food was fantastic. I especially recommend the schnitzel and the duck, they were both delicious! We also enjoyed quite a few G&Ts while relaxing on the deck in the evenings. After spending the day exploring Prague, it became the highlight of our trip to come back, watch the sunset over the river and unwind with a drink. The location was also very convenient. The No. 17 tram stop is just around the corner, making it quick and easy to reach all the main sights in Prague. We had such a lovely stay and would definitely recommend Botel Racek to anyone visiting Prague. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. If I had to suggest a couple of small improvements, it would be nice to have complimentary bottles of water provided in the room for the first night after arrival. I also would have loved to see a few more pastry options at the breakfast buffet, such as croissants or pain au chocolat, but that's just a personal preference. Neither of these took away from what was otherwise a fantastic stay.

stay was great. breakfast was excellent and the staff in the restaurant are exceptionally good. I Also the outside of the botel was not too clean but the inside was impressive.

did not know that to get a room overlooking the river required an extra charge, that was the downside. And restaurant/ bar is closed between 11am and 4pm

I’ve never stayed at a place that was a Boetel, but it was really clean and really up-to-date.

My main issue was that it the AC did not work even after I told them several times and the food wasn’t very good in the restaurant. At first I thought the staff wasn’t very friendly but I think it’s a cultural difference.
