Lovely traditional Country Inn next to the Black Forest.

The historic location if this Country Inn is amazing. The rooms are in a different building, but they are very comfortable and spotless. We ended up in the smallest room, and would have liked a slightly larger room, but this did not impact on our stay.

Disappointing to say the least, bad for health, misled by reviews.

The building from the outside - only.

The hallways leading to the room were dirty and dusty and in the minute that it took me to reach the room, it triggered my asthma and dust allergy - we left immediately, despite having paid for 2 nights. The room was shabby, the little furniture there was, was extremely dated with the upholstery peeling off, and the (brown) towels were tatty and frayed .

We loved it so much we stayed an extra night!

Everything about Hotel Rebstock was fabulous. The property was immaculate. Everything was there that you need for an overnight stay or longer. We had access to a washing machine & dryer. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. Comfy beds and a tasty breakfast with plenty of options to suit all the family.

Good location and spacious room. Very quirky building as it housed a collection of museum items. Breakfast was very good and evening meals were excellent and very reasonably priced . Hostess was very pleasant and helpful.

I opted for extra nights prior to commencing a self-guided walking holiday. Perfect option.

The staff were so friendly, so welcoming, so helpful. Great breakfast options included in the price. Wonderful dining room options for evening meal. Wonderful old world charm and ambience about this hotel.

Not sure I can provide information here. Certainly a short but toughish up hill walk out of the main town area to the hotel. Challenging to get luggage up stair cases to second floor for accommodation.

This place came up trumps, out of all our 12 nights europe tour #1st

This is a little gem, tucked away in a small village. The host’s are pleased to help in any way they can. Highly recommend the evening meal, served in the sunny courtyard. Breakfast was good, so much to choose. Very comfortable bedrooms, spotlessly clean. The bonus for us was room in the garage for our 3 Vespa’s. would highly recommend this place and stay again if in the area.

Nice personnel and in a historic environment. Rooms were not big but clean and comfortable. Very nice lounge and great dinner.

Sehr gerne würden wir wieder vorbeischauen

Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Leider kamen wir zu einer Zeit, in der die meisten Museen, Restaurant und andere Dinge geschlossen hatten. Viel unternehmen könnte man dadurch nicht.

Das Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet und war sehr sauber

Das Zimmer hat trotz lüften über zwei Tage sehr unangenehm nach Männerparfüm gerochen Bett war sehr unbequem, Rückenschmerzen inklusive Checkout bis 11 Uhr möglich, trotz Ankündigung dass erst um 11 Uhr ausgecheckt wird, kam gegen 10.30 Uhr die Reinigungskraft ins Zimmer, ohne sich vorher anzukündigen, anzuklopfen, etc. Hat einfach von außen die Tür aufgeschlossen. DAS GEHT GAR NICHT!!!

Traveling and Sleeping

Schon bei der Ankunft spürte man das hier die Gastfreundschaft gelebt wird... Das Personal lächelte ( heute nicht mehr selbstverständlich ) und war sehr zuvorkommend. Ich habe einen Citroen Plug-In und benötigte Strom... und jetzt genau lies mich der Inhaber spüren.. ja du bist unser Gast... er hat mir einfach so die Möglichkeit gegeben Gratis Strom zu tanken.. Nochmals Dankeschön.... Zum Hotel... es hat sehr viel Charm....das Zimmer war gross und das Frühstückbuffet war ausgiebig..

Eine absolute Perle als Unterkunft. Hier zählt der Gast und es passt alles super zum Gesamtbild! Absolut ‚Daumen hoch‘!!

Super freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer und im Allgemeinen sehr guter Gesamteindruck. Sehr schnelles W-Lan verfügbar. Essen im Restaurant sehr gut, handwerklich top gekocht. Service-Personal sehr zuvorkommend! Tolles Frühstücksbuffet an dem es nichts auszusetzen gibt.

Sollten wir Stühlingen mit dem Auto ansteuern, würden wir wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Obwohl eine große Reisetruppe zur gleichen Zeit frühstückte, hatten andere Reisenden ein ruhiges Plätzche im Nebenraum.

Die Lage des Hotels war für uns als "Bio-Bike"-Reisende nicht ideal, weil wir über in Stühlingen (ca. 1km) einen steilen Berg hoch schieben mussten.

Hohe Sauberkeit! Moderne Zimmerausstattung trotz Gebäude aus dem Jahre 1600 Jahrhundert. Sehr freundliches Personal und für uns schmackhaftes Abendbrot sowie reichhaltiges Frühstückbuffet. Gute Parkmöglichkeit.

Einen Steinwurf von der Grenze (naja, etwas mehr!)

Der Landgasthof lag sehr verkehrsgünstig als Etappe für unsere Reise, da er nur wenige Fahrminuten von einem ruhigen Grenzübergang zur Schweiz entfernt ist. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Nacht war ruhig. Dass wir im Gästehaus (ehemaliges Gefängnis) gleich gegenüber untergebracht waren war kein Problem. Wir reservierten für abends einen Tisch ihn Restaurant und haben schmackhaft gegessen.

Etwas enttäuscht war ich, dass zum Frühstück kein anderer Schwarztee als Earl Grey , auch auf Nachfrage, angeboten werden konnte. So musste ich meinen eigenen Tee holen, da ich Tee mit Milch trinke. Ansonsten war das Frühstück sehr gut.

Un emplacement bien situé près de la Suisse et des chutes du Rhin

Hôtel très typique de cette Allemagne traditionnelle du Bade-Wurtemberg. Les jeunes femmes de la réception étaient très méritantes car le soir elles assuraient également le service du restaurant en salle et en terrasse. Le capuccino du matin était délicieux!

Gerne wieder in den "Rebstock" nach Stühlingen.

Meine Enkeltochter (10 Jahre) und ich haben im "Rebstock" fünf Nächte verbracht. Tagsüber waren wir auf Bildungsreise und Sightseeing, von den Schweizer Alpen bis in und rund um den Schwarzwald. Wir haben jede Nacht, wie die Murmeltiere geschlafen und dann morgens das Frühstück zelebriert. Das, was angeboten wird, reicht vollkommen aus. Es muss nicht immer so groß und üppig sein. Weniger ist sehr oft mehr. Die Marmeladen, ohne Werbung zu betreiben, sind eh ein Unikat und in der Gegend bekannt. Das Personal auch sehr, sehr nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Chef an erste Stelle, aber auf gleicher Stufe der Service und das Housekeeping.

Wir waren in Zimmer 14. Bei der nächsten, sich bietenden Gelegenheit, bitte das Waschbecken ersetzen! Das Rasieren (Nassrasur) war eine Herausforderung.
