Campanile Roissy - Aéroport CDG - Le Mesnil Amelot

Inexpensive. Near airport.

I sent 2 messages to the hotel prior to my stay to ask about nearest train station, and if there were USB ports in the room. They didn’t reply to my messages until after I checked out. The room I was assigned to on check in was in a separate building, behind main building and it was pouring rain (obviously not the hotel’s fault) but when I got there the bathroom was filthy and the sink was filled with brown water with stuff floating in it. After another trip to the main building in the rain I was given a new room. The toilet didn’t flush in the second room. It was midnight so I just stayed in the room until morning with an unusable toilet. I just couldn’t drag my luggage through the rain for the 3rd time.

Good hotel. We've stayed there a couple of times.

I loved how clean and nice it was. Truly great!

I wish the location for the shuttle was easier to find coming from the airport. I got lost and had a terrible experience with uber.

NOTHING, maybe the breakfast - it was good and quiet.

First the rooms were not kept as booked in advance; We booked 3 x individual Superior Double rooms, but grouped together as were were travelling together. The Campanile Mensil had only one room kept for us. They suggested we had booked into the adjacent 'Premier Class Hotel'. I said "sure that's why we came into the Campanile" With repect the reception clerk appeared to be 'on something' a bit high maybe - he spoke English which was great but not any English I had heard before, and was impossible to understand. Eventually he would only give me one room, because the 'system' would only allow him to do that. I showed the three booking forms from Booking.Com - useless, no apology no effort to make amends. We had to demand that he allow us to have two mor rooms. This first and so far only room was paid for by 'Apple Pay' then after payment was made he demanded the 'credit card number'. He said 'for the system'- To explain, of course with Apply Pay a secure payment system there is no credit card and thus no number. This continued for two hours until we had three rooms and payment each time was horrendous with other people waiting behind us at 1am. The room I was given was a twin, not a superior double and the rate was different than booked. I went to the room - in a different building, for goodness sake!...Then my key would not work, yet he had just issued it. I returened back to the original building to the front desk to get a new key and asked for a name to address a complaint to and was offered a free breakfast, appreciated, but no name or email address. However my two colleagues did not favour so well. We needed a shuttle for two flights 15hrs and 19hr. Only to find out the last shuttle was at 09.30am and the next at 18.00hrs - completely USELESS. It cost me Euro 60 for a Taxi to go about 4 kilometers.
