Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, very clean, comfortable space, comfortable bed, great location. Easy check-in, check-out. Very silent and peaceful stay, felt like a home. I would definitely return again if I come to Fujiyoshida for the second time.
There was nothing I didn't like. Every aspect and every detail were bringing me joy.

The property was located in walking distance of lots of things, near a convenience store and restaurants as well as an amazing view of mount fuji. we only stayed for one night and i wish we booked more! the owner was so lovely and kind, and helped us book a taxi to the station.

Local, friendly and family operated, great location. Nestled between the train station and the temple uphill, as well as close to honcho street. It was easy to find and had an electric bike rental a few 100 meters up the road. Little snacks everyday. Shared facilities, but never had an issue using them alone. Big historic building.
A little bit loud if your neighbors aren’t quiet, in this case, I think we were the louder group. Although had the place to ourselves one of the nights.

We really loved this magical cultural experience as felt like we were back in time 400 years ago. staying in a traditional Royokan. The host was so friendly and nurturing and our children loved her dog Tololo. The gardens and the serenity was just what we needed after a busy week in Tokyo and the views of Mt Fuji just outside were incredible!
The showers were a bit hard to figure out as sometimes cold
