Clean and quiet room, no info on parking and check out time changed three times from 12 to 10.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable for a single person. There was a kind offering of sparkling water and rose wine in the room.

The check-out time was 12:00 in the booking confirmation, then 11:00 in the latest hotel email and finally 10.00 in the check in procedure. I had practically no access anymore to the room after 10.00 of my leaving day. Fortunately, I had taken all my stuff earlier and this lack of access was not a real issue. No reception staff for many hours of the day has challenged both my check-in and check-out. Particularly, all the info on where to park and how was not available in any of the communications of the hotel, although in my booking messages I stated clearly that parking for my car was essential. Fortunately, another hotel client randomly, and a very friendly person was very kind to explain to me everything about the keys, the parking place, the free parking in the street.

The room was warm, pleasant, super clean and quiet, with complimentary water and wine. And a very nice shower as well!

A very a pleasant stay and an amazing shower!

- The property is super clean. - It’s quiet. - The bed was comfortable enough. - The shower is absolutely amazing! - Free parking. - Complimentary water and wine. - Friendly staff. - Good location to travel into Aachen, Cologne, and nature reserve Eifel. - Shops and restaurants nearby.

- The towels were not replaced when we requested room cleaning, even though we stayed there for 5 nights. The floor towel was taken away though, so we had to use another towel on the floor and therefore we ended up with one short. Because we hardly saw any staff we didn’t know how to fix it. - We arrived very late, so the gate to the car park was locked and we didn’t know where to park. We called them and they helped us very kindly. Apparently you get a key for the gate upon check in. Would have been easier if this was included in the information we received beforehand.

The kiosk sign in was awesome. The beds were super comfy. They are also located next to a bakery, and pizzeria! They have a share parking lot right around the corner. They also had complimentary wine and bubbly water. They were quick to respond via email as well.

Excellent stopover

The property was new, clean, modern and well designed. There was bottled water and a small bottle of wine - both complimentary - which was a lovely gesture. The gentleman at reception was very helpful.

Bestimmt nicht wieder

Das einzige was ich gut fand war, das das Zimmer sehr sauber war. Steckdose am Bett aber ein bisschen schwer zu erreichen. Licht war in Ordnung.

Die Ankunft mit dem Auto. Wo ist der Parkplatz? Ich habe auf dem Parkplatz der Bank geparkt obwohl ich das eigentlich nicht durfte. Bin mit der mir mitgeteilten Nummer ins Hotel gegangen. Anruf an die Besitzer. Es gibt keinen Parkplatz ich soll mir einen suchen. Habe dann auf einem kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz geparkt. Im Hotel habe ich dann weit hinten die Rezeption gefunden und man hat mir gesagt ich hätte auf dem Parkplatz bleiben können, man hätte mir einen Schlüssel dafür gegeben. Die Aussicht aus dem Fenster direkt gegen eine hohe Mauer. Das kostenlose WLAN mehr als unsicher, mein Handy hat mich sehr gewarnt dieses zu Benutzen. Die Toiletten und Badezimmertür aus durchsichtigem Glas. Kein Fön, kein Hygienebeutel, keine Tücher. Kein Frühstücksraum. Und morgens beim Ausschecken? Keine Rezeption. Wohin mit den Karten? Anruf beim Besitzer: ich kann die Karten im Zimmer lassen. Ich habe sie dann bei der Bäckerin nebenan gelassen. Und zum Preis: ich habe eine Woche vorher in einem 4 Sterne Hotel in München inklusive Frühstück und allen anderen Annehmlichkeiten 15 Euro weniger pro Tag bezahlt. Und insgesamt habe ich 9 Mails vom Hotel bekommen.

Ich habe aus versehen das falsche Hotel gebucht (Jülicherstr. statt Wasserturm). Völlig unkompliziert wurde das intern korrigiert. Vielen Dank. Gute Ausstattung, schönes Bad.

Reinigung nur auf Wunsch ist nicht so schön. Sieht man aber mittlerweile bei einigen Hotels. Leider gibt es kein Frühstück. Der Bäcker um die Ecke ist kein adäquater Ersatz.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel mit unscheinbarem Äußeren

Das Hotel überraschte mit einem sauberen, gut ausgestattete Zimmer, einem praktischem, gut renoviertem Bad und einem kleinen Begrüßungsgetränk. Trotz der Lage an der Straße war es im Zimmer angenehm ruhig. Der Check-In am Automaten verlief problemlos, die Zahlung war mit Handy-Pay möglich. Vor der Anreise hatten wir mit dem Hotel Kontakt aufgenommen, weil ein Link zur Vorab-Registrierung nicht richtig von booking weitergeleitet wurde. Das Telefongespräch war sehr freundlich und professionell, wir bekamen einen funktionierenden Link per E-Mail zeitnah zugesendet. Das Hotel bietet selbst kein Frühstück an, im Haus befindet sich jedoch eine Bäckerei, in der man frühstücken kann. Eine weitere Möglichkeit zum einem Frühstück beim Bäcker gibt es in rund 500m Entfernung.

Von außen ist lediglich der Hoteleingang zu erkennen, die Zimmer liegen alle nach hinten. Unser Zimmer ließ keinen Blick ins Grüne zu, man schaute auf eine weiße Mauer. Man jedoch gut lüften und es ist kein Straßenlärm zu hören. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist die Schiebetüre zum Bad, die aus einer Klarglasscheibe besteht. Vom Bett aus war in unserem Zimmer aber kein direkter Blick ins Bad möglich. Die im Haus befindliche Bäckerei war an unserem Abreisetag (Samstag) personell etwas unterbesetzt.

Bezig met een road trip door Europa. In Zwitserland zoeken we een accommodatie en komen uit in Altdorf. De app van booking.con erbij gepakt en vinden een Hotel. Ingevoerd in de navigatie zagen wij dat het Hotel 600km bij onze huidige lokatie vandaan is. Ipv Altdorf hadden we Alsdorf ingetypt. Direct bellen wij met Hotel Siebenschläfer (binnen 20min) om de fout te herstellen. De eigenaar is onverbiddelijk. Jullie hebben geboekt dus moeten betalen. Ja maar…. Niks mee te maken, jullie hebben geboekt. Betalen!

Powerman Alsdorf

Wir waren bereits letztes Jahr zu einer Sportveranstaltung dort. Primär mutet das Hotel etwas eigenartig an, da man als Zutritt nur eine kleine Tür neben einer Bäckerei hat. Die Zimmer sind allerdings top. Die Inhaber überaus bemüht und zugewandt, um den Sportlern am Wettkampftag im Partnerhotel am Wasserturm/Alsdorf ein Frühstück ab 05:00 Uhr früh zu ermöglichen. Das war super. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen. Ansonsten kann man das Frühstück auch in der Bäckerei direkt am Hotel einnehmen.

Es war sauber und für eine pragmatische Nacht ok, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt hier nicht. Es ist wahrscheinlich das einzige dieser Art in einem grösseren Radius. Mit mehr Konkurrenz wäre der Preis nicht haltbar.

Rundherum zufrieden

Wir waren nun schon zum 2. Mal im Hotel Siebenschläfer, von außen sieht es nicht nach Hotel aus, kaum geht man durch die Türe, sehr schön, wir wurden nett empfangen, unser Zimmer war überdurchschnittlich groß, sehr sauber und total ruhig. Ein sehr bequemes Bett, wir haben traumhaft geschlafen, toll ist auch der abgesperrte Parkplatz. Getränke gibt es im Gang im Kühlschrank, eine Bäckerei gleich nebenan, die uns nicht so gefällt, aber so ca. 500 m entfernt ist nochmals eine Bäckerei mit sehr freundlichem Personal, es werden auch Sonderwünsche erfüllt, einfach klasse.
