The studio was conveniently located in central San Christobál and had a lovely garden. The staff were responsive and helpful and the bed was very comfortable.

The kitchen equipment was sparse, and the toilet leaked. The room we had didn’t match any of the photos in the listing.

The location is right on the main street, but far enough away that it is quite. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay. Host was always easy to get a hold of upon both check in and check out. Let us store our bags early in the day.

It is cold, like very cold. Bring sweaters and shoes to wear around. Since we were on the bottom floor, and the flooring is cement, it does not heat up. Room felt quite damp, which made for a funny smell. We just opened the windows, and that seemed to help.

A wonderful place to stay in San Cristobal. Comfortable modern rooms in the heart of the city. The facilities were excellent. Easy to access and quiet in the evenings. Comfortable beds, good wifi, and hot showers made for a great overall experience.

Nothing to complain about. It gets cold in San Cris in the winter nights, but they provided extra blankets to help keep the cold away.

Upon arrival, I loved the terrace and having access to open air.

Communication was dismal. I missed my flight and arrived a day late and upon arrival had still not received entry instructions, instead I received a message telling me how to check out the next day. Other guests had to help me gain entry. Initially I was enchanted by the open air terrace and asked to stay an extra week, which was granted, as there weren't many other guests. I soon discovered the kitchen is very poorly equipped - no microwave or kettle and very few dishes and cutlery. The stove had no gas and the water jug was empty, I had to call to have both replaced upon arrival (after arriving a day late). The only pot had no lid. No tea towel and the dish cloth was disgusting and looked about 5 years old. Lighting is terrible, don't plan on reading in bed, as there is no bedside light and there are no curtains on the windows so you'll be awake at 6am. Manager said he would bring a beside lamp, when I complained about the light, but he failed to do so. The sheets were not very clean, lots of debris and who knows what else on them. No shampoo, conditioner or even a bar of soap in the bathroom and you are only allotted 2 rolls of toilet paper - after that you're on your own! I was told there would be maid service as my stay was for 8 days but noone ever showed up. The garbage piled up and started to smell, so I took it downstairs and left it there. My towels and sheets were not changed. It would be so easy to make this place so much more accommodating and comfortable (as previous reviews have also suggested) but the owner obviously doesn't care or pays no heed to reviews. I decided to move after a week, but had signed up for a tour that didn't return until 2pm the day I was to move out. I asked to leave my stuff in the room or outside the room (as there weren't many people staying here) and the owner said no, I basically had to take my suitcase and all the food from my fridge with me on the tour.
