Sehr persönlich, liebevoll ausgestattet in allen Details.

ALLES ! Zentral und doch ruhig gelegen, Parkplatz vor der Tür, liebevoll gestalteter Frühstückstisch, täglich frische Croissants, frisches Obst, Saft, Milch, Wasser, Kaffee, Joghurt, Nino hat uns immer nach unseren Wünschen gefragt und war für alle Fragen stets erreichbar. Einen besseren Gastgeber kann es nicht geben ! Jeden zweiten Tag kam ein vorher angekündigter Zimmerservice inkl. Handtuchwechsel. Für all das nochmals ein herzliches DANKESCHÖN !

Das Wetter hätte etwas besser sein können ;-)

Nino was amazing. Before we even arrived, he made sure that we knew how to get there because often Google can be misleading (in Sicily). We didn't have to second guess directions! Every morning he brought us delicious croissants filled with cream (our choosing). We weren't expecting a kitchen, but there was one provided. It was well equipped with all the things you might need to make a full meal: pots and pans, plates, cups, wine glasses, tumblers, mixing spoons, wine openers. In renovating the apartment, Nino and Francesca thought of everything. We had forgotten an item at the place and they made sure that we got it back. The region where Al-Zabut is located is beautiful, there are plenty of things to see, but really Sambuca deserves its own deep exploration. It has deep traditions of art and artisanship. We stopped by Casa dell' Arte, as well as a metalsmith shop where the artist makes large art and it is displayed throughout the town. Many fabulous restaurants, and it is located in the middle of wine country (Menfi). It was an enchanting weekend and can't wait to go back.

This was a great location (very quiet at night) and the owners have included so many thoughtful touches. There was an unusually severe thunderstorm one night during our stay that actually shattered two windows. Nino and Francesca were on the scene immediately to mop up the rain water, and they had the windows repaired by the next morning.

For early morning showering at this time of year, the water heater setting could have been a little warmer.
