The newly built villa is one of four beach villas that are situated right on the beach of Rapaniana.The owner archictect has given great attention using eco-friendly matterials,creating a villa that blends in perfectly with the seafront location.
The impressive front terraces and lawned gardens host a stone built covered BBQ with woodburning oven and a small outdoor kitchen,located by the pool.The beautyful large pool is equipped with a jacuzzi/massage area, and complemented by a romantic outdoor seating corner perfect for enjoying summer starry nights…
The interior of the villa is set on three floors.Entrance floor comprises living room with comfortable sofas, separate dinning room with one more sofa and fully equipped kitchen.On the first floor there are two spacious bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom and a lovely terrace with amazing views to the sea and Ravdouha Peninsula.On the lower floor, there is one more bedroom with a raised platform double bed and one more sofa bed. On this floor there is also a fourth bedroom with a double bed please note that it has no windows) and one more bathroom.
The villa is a short drive away from the famous Falassarna beach, and just 15 minutes away from Kissamos Harbour,the starting point of the renown Gramvousa and Balos lagoon boat trip.

AZURE VILLA FROM CHANIA AIRPORT
Take the road out of Hania Airport and continue on this road for about 3 kms.
Turn right at the signpost to Hania (round-about) and keep on this road until you see a sign for Souda(second round-about).
Take the left fork and go down a steep winding road.
Stay on this road for 6 kms till you reach a built-up area with a kiosk on the left.
When you reach a set of traffic lights (INKA supermarket), turn right.
After 200 metres turn left onto the main road from Souda signposted to Rethymnon and Hania.
After 300 metres take exit on the right on to the national road to Hania and Kissamos. Drive on this road until you reach the exit to Platanias.
Take the slip road off the motorway towards Platanias. Follow the road until you reach the main coastal road. Turn left towards Maleme.Drive
on this road for about 10 km (follow the signs to Kolymbari). When you arrive at village Rapaniana (signposted) slow down and when you see the sign for Rapaniana end village,turn right towards the sea. Procced for about 200 meters and you will see the four stone villas on your right,on the beach.

We loved this villa! It's a great location being a stone's throw from the beach, in a peaceful location but accessible to many areas. The house itself had everything we needed; it was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. The pool area is super and the gardens are very pretty. It has three good-sized bedrooms with bathrooms. The villa owner is absolutely charming and kind; she brought us home baked treats every day and provided all kinds of useful information. We used the villa as a base to travel to many places in Crete - Knossos and Phaestos, beaches including Elafounissi, the Samarai Gorge (there's a handy travel agency at the end of the road who planned our day trip there and the bus picked us up right there), Gramvousa Island and the blue lagoon, Chania (great for shopping, restaurants and strolling), etc. It was our first time in Crete and we loved it.

We have just returned from a very restful stay in this beautiful villa. Eleni is a wonderful hostess and went out of her way to make our visit as perfect as possible. The accommodation is extremely clean and in excellent condition . The pool area is huge and surrounded by well kept lawns. I would thoroughly recommend it. There is a little taverna you can walk to for lunch which overlooks the pebble beach. The better quality restaurants are a 5 min drive away but there are plenty to choose from. We enjoyed a lunch at Edem and dinner at Argentina.

We stayed at Villa Azure for a month. It was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We always try to find a small nice property instead of big international hotels in every trip we do and after staying in many hotels all around the world, we are 100% sure that Villa Azure was our best ever choice.
The location is very close to the beach (1 minute walk) and still very quiet. The grounds with the pool are in perfect condition with greens and many chairs, coaches to relax with a chilled drink. Airport is 20 mins by car. Rooms are spotlessly clean and large enough to feel yourself comfortable even for a long stay. We would like to mention that every detail and every corner of the interiors and exteriors are built with love and perfect taste.
The owners are most courteous people we have come across in the near past, they have a unique gentle character of hospitality. It took us a while to re-adjust to the city once back home: we lived a dream at Villa Azure and we hope to be able to go back one day!

We enjoyed every moment at this villa. It's so well maintaind that we almost thought it was new. The owners ,Eleni and George were very kind and generous and showed us a bit of the real Crete . Everything was so clean, both outside and inside and the garden was so well planned with furniture , a nice pool and a lovely outdoor kitchen.
There's a restaurant a little bit from the villa that brings good food to the door, name and number on the desk.
We recommend a nice restaurant by the beach called Edem, visit that one!
There's a bakery and a butcher near by.
We went to the ridingcenter in Deres for a nice ride in the mountains.
Everything went very smoothly this vacation and any question was just a few steps, a phonecall or a mail away.
