Friendly welcome from the charming host. Wonderfully adapted old building to encompass modern and comfortable facilities. Shower great, bed comfortable, breakfast plentiful with local ingredients, free Wifi. Very very quiet location with plentiful of easy access parking. A short drive to Angouleme with its bars and restaurants and the recommendation from our host proved to be superb - a lovely dinner. Thanks, Davina.
We first thought that a heated towel rail would have improved things but towels dried on the ladder rack overnight. (Might be needed during winter months?)
