The property is in an enviable position , looking out over the beach . 1 1/2 minutes from the beach . This was it's only salvation .
The address to the property is wrong . It is NOT anywhere near POINT VILLAGE . ( Point Village is 1 1/2 kilometres away ) Our taxi had to search for the property which turned out to be in Santos Bay . The keys for the property were a kilometre away , which was totally inconvenient . There is a security guard at the property in Santos Bay who has nothing to do all day and would be ideal to hold the keys . There are four A4 sheets of paper on the fridge door itemising a list of fines for bad behaviour , not locking doors , not locking windows , not allowing ' ladies of the night ' into the property , not putting washing on the grass not returning the keys , PLUS many many more . Plus , there were 4 pages of inventory , no doubt to make sure we didn't ' nick ' anything ( I'm sure we weren't going to trail through 4 pages of cutlery and furnishings ; we had better things to do ! ) It would have been nice to have been welcomed at the property not subjected some Draconian regulations . This was our final stop after spending 7 weeks at different properties in S.A. , all the others were really nice and we were welcomed at all the others .

The location was fantastic with amazing views and central to walk to restaurants and the beach.
The accommodation is outdated with old furniture and a shower which you can barely squeeze into. Should include a dishwasher, improved braai facility and equipment. We had to clean the braai grid ourselves. Cockroaches in the kitchen and some dirty utensils. I also don’t know why we have to wait 7 days for our a breakage refund of R1000 which you must pay upfront. Very very basic. Could not work the TV.
