Villa Sara

The owner, Dominique was absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and he was amazing with his local knowledge. A really kind person. Villa Sara was spotlessly clean and the views were spectacular. The only drawback for us was the number of steps but this was a problem wherever we went If you are fit and want to stay in the hills away from the noise and bustle then pay a visit to the lovely Dominique. Thanks Dominique, we'll never forget you

The stairs

Everything. Domenico is the BEST host, so helpful, so flexible. Gave us great tips for best eats around Taormina and how to get around. Breakfast was amazing every morning with a view of Etna. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! Bathroom is large and spacious with fresh towels and cleaned every day.

Nothing, we loved it. Just beware lots of stairs from the town as it’s up on the hill but that is Taormina! And worth it for the views :) Thanks again Domenico!!

This is an exceptional place to stay, high in the hills of Taormina but within walking distance of all of the major attractions. Three things make this stand out as a great choice: 1) The views, it's stunning, both Mount Etna in one direction and in the other, the busy streets and the sea. We sat on the balcony in the evening and just took it all in. 2) That same view accompanies a fantastic breakfast, it's a special way to start any day. The food is fantastic, the coffee delicious and the atmosphere so welcoming.3) The host, the most charming, charismatic and helpful man one could hope to meet. Everything else is there too, proximity to all of the attractions, lovely room and bathroom, cleanliness, complimentary water. If this accommodation is available then definitely book it, you won't be disappointed!

There's nothing to dislike. The walk back to the accommodation is all uphill, but the view is worth it every time!
