About this house rental
Large family home – fully restored 18th-century Provençal bastide, full of character with original stonework and traditional terracotta tomettes floors. The house can accommodate a maximum of 15 guests (9 adults + 6 children), plus 2 babies.
NO WEDDINGS, PARTIES OR EVENTS.
Set at the end of a long driveway lined with pine trees and holm oaks, the house sits in the heart of its own 30 hectares (74 acres) of private woodland, shaded by magnificent century-old plane trees. Despite its peaceful and secluded setting, it is only 4 km from a charming Luberon village, with a bakery, restaurant, bars, newsagent/tobacconist, grocery shop and post office.
UNHEATED SWIMMING POOL, secured by a lockable electric safety cover, but THERE IS NO SAFETY FENCE AROUND THE POOL.
POOL TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED, so please remember to bring your own.
The terraced garden offers plenty of activities: table tennis, pétanque, darts, a PRIVATE FLOODLIT SYNTHETIC-GRASS TENNIS COURT, numerous board games, books and DVDs. There are also lovely walks directly from the property. Explore the markets of the Luberon, beautiful Provençal villages less than 30 minutes away, and the many excellent restaurants in the area.
The house is ideal for family holidays with children and teenagers, with plenty of space for everyone to spend time together or enjoy some privacy. There is a TV room with DVDs and a library (no TV channels), a summer room with large glass doors and a large table seating 10 for meals or board games, and a spacious main living room with a fireplace and grand piano.

* One double bedroom with private shower room and WC
* Large family kitchen
* Spacious living room
* Small outdoor shower room
* Covered courtyard with table tennis table
First floor:
* Master double bedroom with dressing room, private shower room and WC
* One bedroom with a 140 cm double bed
* Laundry room with direct outdoor access for drying clothes
* Separate shower and washbasins
* Separate WC
* TV room and library
Second floor:
* One double bedroom with private shower room
* One double bedroom with a baby cot
* Two children’s bedrooms (with two double beds and two bunk beds in total)
* Family bathroom with shower, bathtub and double washbasins
* Separate WC
In total: 5 bedrooms for 9 ADULTS (four 160 cm beds and one 140 cm bed) plus 2 CHILDREN’S BEDROOMS.
THE HOUSE DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING.
Fans are provided in every bedroom.
Summer rate: €6,000 per week, including cleaning and bed linen (excluding Abritel/VRBO service fees).
Before your stay, you will receive a PDF house guide with all our favourite local addresses and recommendations.
Check-in: from 5:00 pm on Saturday (or Sunday).
Check-out: by 10:00 am, unless otherwise agreed with Brigitte, our trusted local house manager.
Please note that TWO CATS LIVE ON THE PROPERTY (they do not sleep inside the house). For this reason, we are unable to accommodate guests’ pets.

Ein Traum in der Provence! Gepflegtes, grosses Anwesen in dem wir mit fünf Kindern sehr erholsame Tage verbringen durften!

Groupe d’amis composé de 10 adultes et 4 enfants, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette magnifique propriété, au calme, et disposant d’équipements de qualité (piscine, terrain de tennis, cuisine, chambres…). Les contacts avec la propriétaire, et l’accueil ont été excellents. Merci à Christine pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. Petit bémol toutefois : la présence d’un surpresseur bruyant à proximité de la chambre du RdC, et le manque d’ombre au niveau de la piscine. Je conseille vivement cette propriété.

C'était notre deuxième séjour au Déroc, choisi à l'unanimité par tous comme lieu idéal pour réunir notre famille.
Nous aimons cette grande maison accueillante et très bien équipée dans son cadre naturel procurant calme et espace.
Nous apprécions la grande terrasse ombragée, véritable lieu de vie du petit déjeuner à la soirée et bien sûr la grande piscine,le tennis, le train de boules et le ping-pong.
Les environs offrent de nombreuses possibilités...mais on est si bien au Déroc!

Cette bastide est un lieu idéal pour passer un très agréable moment a plusieurs (dans notre cas une famille). La maison, spacieuse et décorée avec goût, perdue dans la campagne, a un charme unique. La propriété est étendue permettant à chacun d'avoir son espace à l'ombre des platanes ou oliviers. Cette semaine nous a permis de passer de très bons moments nous donnant (très) envie de revenir. A noter que toutes les installations sont en excellent état et très bien entretenues. De plus un ensemble de services sont disponibles pour faciliter le séjour. Enfin, la région offre de multiples activités, aussi bien pour les sportifs que les flâneurs ou amateurs de cultures. Une location que nous recommandons chaudement.
