Real Greek island experience

Very good location, minimal modern interior, responsive host, there's parking space for car.

There's very soft mattress and we prefer firm, so this is only shortcoming.

Wonderful stay in central apartment, Alyki

We loved this 2-bed apartment right by the harbour and the Main Street of Alyki. We had everything we needed and a large covered terrace to eat where we could look down to the sea between two whitewashed buildings. To the side we had a view across the hills past more whitewashed houses with blue shutters and pink bougainvillea - just perfect! There’s air conditioning in both bedrooms which was welcome in the heat. The kitchen and bathrooms looked newly decorated in neutral shades with lovely stone-effect tiles. A cleaning lady came in each day to clean & tidy. We ate at the family restaurant on the sea front where the food is amazing - try the fried Zucchini starter and the grilled squid. The apartment was minimal, as the name suggests, but that was just what we wanted for our ‘authentic’ Greek island holiday. The village has a wonderful atmosphere and is full of life day and night with boats in the harbour, restaurants, cafes, shops and a couple of small beaches nearby.

There wasn’t much we didn’t like. One of the air conditioning remotes needed the battery case replacing. Cooking facilities are just two rings but that was enough for us.

We had a great stay!

The property is great - located in a beautiful village with two awesome beaches. The property is spacious with a sea view and parking; very clean with daily housekeeping. Lots of boat tour options nearby to visit the blue lagoon, which is a must. Easy drive around the island. The village is closed for car traffic from 12 pm to 12 am. Thank you to the hosts!! The bonus was a pet - super cute orange kitty that visited us every morning.

Great place to stay!

There was lots of space for our family of 4. The apartment was clean, modern, comfortable and cool. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance and some beaches as well. We were very comfortable and happy with our stay.

It was a little far from the main port, which can be nice if you want to be away from the hustle bustle and want a more quiet environment.

Wonderful Apartment, Wonderful town

A superb location in a lovely town. Daily room service was unexpected for an apartment but very welcome, more like a hotel stay. The associated family restaurant is very good. Parking next to the apartment was easy. We were warned about water pressure but it was excellent.

The Aircon unit was too noisy to use at night, we didn't need it in June but it might be a problem in August..... .... could really do with some more comfortable seating on the terrace.

Wonderful apartment. Newly renovated, well furnished and well kept. Housekeeping services provided daily. Spacious bathroom with toiletries replenished daily. Snacks provided on the dining table are replenished daily. The family running the apartment is friendly and helpful. Location is good. Near the bus stop, shops and facing the sea.

> Although we had reserved a 60sqm apartment with sea view, they assigned us another one of less than 40sqm with garden view plus a dining table on an outside terrace. > On the third day, the noise coming from our terrace woke us up and we found it invaded by almost a dozen relatives of the groom and 2 other people staying in the room next door. They gave us our table back, but some continued to drink and smoke on our terrace, which at times was somewhat annoying. The wedding dinner was held in the adjacent restaurant of the same owners of the accommodation

Amazing apartment, amazing island - we will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Helen's. As others have said, there is nothing minimal about these apartments. They are very comfortable - modern, exceptionally clean, comfy beds, great bathroom and outdoor space. We were traveling as a family of 5, and it was so nice to have 2 full bedrooms. We also appreciated the homemade preserves in the room. We loved the view of the harbour from our balcony. We are so glad we chose to stay in Aliki - while there are some tourists, it feels like a local town. We were there in May, so tourism was just getting started for the year. We ate great meals in their restaurant where you get 10% off. Every day our apartment was cleaned very thoroughly. Excellent wifi - we were able to work and do video calls. Incredible place to stay. We rented a car for 2 days to explore the different beaches and areas of the island.

Aliki is a small town in the south, there aren’t any restaurants open in winter but there is a small souvlaki place + supermarket. You can cook dinner at the apartment. It was a nice stay, rooms were clean, bathroom clean: Cute location, near the water. There’s two dogs, one barks a lot but the other is a cute little pup that hung out with us

The room was beautifully laid out, elegant and so cosy. The bed was so comfortable and everything was so clean. There was a lovely modern ensuite bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette which had everything you could possibly need. The provision of home-made marmelade and jam, toasted bread and coffee was a lovely touch. I had a garden view balcony at yhe back and it was very nice, even without a sea view, because you overlook a nice liitle farm with chickens and pomegranate trees. I'm not sure why it is called 'Minimal', as the room and balcony had everything you need!

We had to cancel 1 of our 3 rooms due to one of our party being admitted to hospital. We were charged half of the stay even though the owner filled all of our dates with another booking.

The perfect apartment for a week in Aliki. We felt truly spoilt and welcomed.

A beautiful apartment with everything we needed for a perfect week. Ideal location and the host was welcoming. It was topped up with clean sheets, towels, tea and coffee daily and cleaned spotless each time. Walking distance to some Beautiful beaches, boat trips and amazing local restaurants. A real gem and we can’t wait to come back!

High quality shower & kitchen area with a good Hob all the utensils you need. Bed was very comfortable. Staff very helpful with washing clothes.

Lovely studios, small but with everything you need, with a renewed bathroom with a lovely shower. Very clean, Alphelyde was lovely and helpful with our laundry. The restaurant of the owner is the best one and you will find Eutanasio the best waiter ever!

I loved my stay at Helen's apartment and wished I'd have gone to Aliki sooner and stayed longer. My room was very clean, with comfortable bed and pillows, bathroom was very modern, and kitchenette facilities are complete. Collection of keys from Helen herself was a breeze since it was very easy to find Aliki Restaurant Paros and the apartment is just right behind it. Paralia Aliki and Piso Aliki beach are very close by for a swim. Also, Helen and her staff provides top notch service and really goes out of their way to help their guests.
