Lovely stay in Cologne

Nice hotel in the middle of Cologne. The personnel was friendly. The room was spacious. Breakfast area is sweet.

The beds and linnen were stiff. Lot of dusk under the bed. Street was noisy, but that's the risk guests take.

Cosy room in a great location.

Great location, close to restaurants and shops. Very comfortable and clean room with a safe. Elevator made 4th level easily accessible. Friendly and welcoming staff.

We had to call the host to get access to the room. We did not have an EU phone, also not able to contact through WhatsApp.

Amazing stay

Great location - 10 minutes walk to the Belgian quarter 20 mins to the old town. Staff were amazing and really helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and large - great showers too.

They were installing Aircon (but that's just doing improvements and did not bother us) and sometimes outside could be a little loud but with the windows closed you couldn't hear anything

Great little find of a hotel

Staff were great. Initially we had a small room but for a small cost we were able to upgrade to a very decent sized room. It's worth going for the bigger room for a couple. The small rooms are fine for a single traveler. Breakfast was really good with eggs cooked to order and many other choices. Luka and Thomas were very helpful and fun. Location was a little off the beaten track, but very walkable to everything you want to see and do.

A/C in all rooms would have been nice. We were in Cologne for a heat wave and were provided with a portable a/c. However, the venting of the a/c caused the window to have to be open, so the room did not get that cool. Other than that, everything was great.

Lovely boutique hotel. Clean and comfortable. Staff very kind and helpful. Location is great. Go to La Pizzaetta around the corner for great food.

Wifi was intermittent. Staff tried to reboot but still had occasional issues. Used my phone data mostly so not a dealbreaker.

Great location just around the corner from Neumarkt and Cologne’s main shopping streets, style of the rooms, super friendly staff and the breakfast was simply amazing

Lovely place to stay, central but not noisy!

The staff were lovely and very helpful, the room was clean and comfortable - the bathroom in particular was really spacious and nicely decorated, the breakfast was tasty, overall a really good experience.

A tea/coffee maker was advertised in the standard rooms but we didn't have one, only one bedside table was awkward for the person without one.

Great hotel, great location, great host

This is our third time in Maison Marsil...and we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Koln. The location is superb, the rooms and breakfast are great and the host really good!
