The Hotel is exceptional.What a beautiful Hotel.Looks ftom the outside are vrry decieving.The toom was just super.The food was fantastic.And above all the staff were brilliant.Really ftienfly and helpful.Couldnt be better.I wanted to stsy a 2nd night ,but it was full 😱

Lovely little place to spend the weekend with a view to exploring nearby countryside and villages with the trees in all their autumn splendour.The lady who attended us in reception and both times at breakfast,which by the way,was a delicious start to the day, couldn't have been more friendly and charming! May stay there again,if ever down that way!

Quaint and traditional but modernised and clean
Not 24 hours open being a family owned hotel and was closed on arrival but had keys ready after eventually able to call the number on the door and was opened for us. We did say we would have a very late arrival at 3.00am via booking.com messaging in advance.

Lovely large comfortable bed and location.
The service in this hotel is so bad, we stood in reception for 25mins before a lady attended. Reserved table for 20.30 for dinner, door to restaurant didnt open until 20.40 so a queue formed, no apology was given. One waitress tried her best to serve 20 clients. We booked 7.30 for breakfast next morning and had to pay in advance. At 7.27 there was still no sign of any staff to serve breakfast so we had to leave without breakfast. We are a well travelled couple and both agree that this hotel has the worst service, reception/restaurant and bar. Air conditioning unit kept cutting out
