Apartamentos Sureda

Met on arrival at reception by the very friendly host who gave us information about the resort and key codes. Top floor apartment excellent and well equipped with lovely views over the pool and the sea just a short distance away. Air-con was very useful as it was hot during our stay. The pool was excellent and heated! No shock to the system when jumping in on a very hot day. They had a small area with lilos, balls, flotation aids which had probably been left behind and were very popular with the younger guests (and some of the older ones too)! Location was great, only a few minutes from the beach and most of the restaurants in the resort. They had an apartment cat who was well looked after and could often be seen relaxing in the well tended garden. On-street parking was fairly easy, there was always a space quite close. There was always a few spaces in the bookable apartment carpark. All in all a very enjoyable week's holiday.

The last day came around too soon.

Loved the very quiet area - exactly as described by the host in their messages. Easy to access the apartment which was secure, very clean, and had everything we needed. Lift welcome. Also, downstairs toilet available at all times so useful when checking out/when at the pool. The balcony was a great size for two and got the morning/afternoon sun. The pool had plenty of areas to sit in and out of the shade. Most beds had umbrellas. The pool was a good size but quite cold (went in June) but okay once in and warmer in the afternoon. Joan the host was excellent - very friendly and helpful. Towel hire available so saves packing a heavy towel. Lots of information sent through, including a number in case of emergencies.

The only issue was that we wanted a two bedroom apartment and one room had a lovely double bed, plenty of space, and a mirror, and the other had bunkbeds and a chest of drawers. The bed was still comfy but I'm getting a bit old to sleep in a bunk. Obviously, it was down to room size but don't know if they have other apartments with a double and a single bed.

Clean and central in the resort. Pool lovely and resort very quiet.
