Beautiful property and lovely staff.

Stunning property with 2 restaurants on site plus vineyard and olive trees. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast served. Room was very comfortable. Staff had good standard of English language.

More information about late checking in procedures would be helpful. No one to direct us where to collect our room keys as we arrived late at night about 10pm, and eventually found restaurant entrance. Reception was closed.

Gem locale in Friuli, highly recommend

Amazing property - grounds are beautiful and well maintained. room was clean, modern, comfortable and so pretty. pizzeria was a pleasant surprise, food was excellent. staff all around were friendly, helpful and accommodating. breakfast was very good too. would love to stay here again and would recommend it

Beautiful place to stay!

I was meeting friends for dinner there, and decided to stay the night. I wasn't sure even if I could get a room, because of the COVID-19 situation, but things are slowly opening up and allowing hotel stays, etc., so took the chance and booked the room on-line through BOOKING.COM. The staff (restaurant and breakfast) were very kind and helpful and spoke English. The room I had was very comfortable, and the breakfast was very nice. Great outdoor seating to help with social distancing, and a great restaurant and pizzeria on site. I am sure it was because of the circumstances here at the moment, but just something of which to be aware when traveling....when I arrived at the location by car, they did not have a receptionist "on hand" at the check-in desk and the lobby area was locked. BUT of COURSE in the end it was not a problem, and I totally understood, as I had not given them an arrival time. The kind gentleman that did eventually come to check me in (some workers on site went to tell them someone was checking in) didn't seem to speak English, but that also was OK for me - he was kind and considerate, and I understood what was expected for the check in so didn't really have any questions - so consequently it was not really a problem. :) He kindly gave me the phone number for the staff in the main building, and I am sure there would have been someone there that he could have quickly gotten that spoke English to come over if I needed help. But I ONLY share this because as of right now, things here during this phase of the Italian opening from the Lock Down due to the Corona Virus are SLOW and so regular services at ALL establishments may be impacted at this time. Therefore, I do not fault the establishment at all. Overall I had a VERY nice experience, especially since things here in Italy have been so "crazy" lately. Considering the circumstances, I felt very fortunate and grateful that I was even able to get a room! :)

Wunderschönes neu renoviertes Hotel mit tollem Garten und schöner weitläufiger Umgebung.

Leider waren Restaurant und Pizzeria geschlossen. Im nahen Fiume Veneto gibt es aber einige sehr nette Lokale.

Perfekt!

Wir waren schon öfters im Fossa Mala. Wie immer alles perfekt. Sehr freundliches Personal. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und wunderschöne Zimmer. Sehr empfehlenswert ist ebenfalls das Restaurant Marin!

logement magnifique,les chambres propres et le personnel tres sympathique surtout à l acceuilnous a donné des bons conseil pour les produits terroir. on a tres bien mangé au restaurant Marin et aussi à la pizzeria. on y retournera super séjour.

Sehr schöne Anlage, gutes Frühstück, freundliches Personal

Die Zimmer sind etwas klein (aber ausreichend) und wenn die Fenster zum Innenhof gehen und es findet eine Hochzeit statt, bzw. die Gäste der Pizzeria und des Restaurants sitzen heraussen, ist so schnell nicht an Schlaf zu denken...

Posto magico

È un posto da sogno in cui rilassarsi e staccare dalla routine. Le camere sono molto belle e pulite. Lo staff meraviglioso! Abbiamo provato sia il ristorante che la pizzeria e in entrambi abbiamo mangiato divinamente. La colazione è stata buonissima e abbondante, ma soprattutto bellissimo poterla fare con vista sul giardino. Torneremo sicuramente!
