Holiday house in Porto Cervo

The home was exactly as described. It was clean and had a welcome bottle of wine and water in the refrigerator. There are two bedrooms and we used only one. The shower we used splashed a lot of water outside the stall making it slippery. The house has 3 AC units which work well but the house rules ask that you keep the setting at 26 which was a bit high. The washing machine was excellent and there was a drying rack outside. The kitchen had a fridge freezer and stovetop- perfect for making small meals like breakfast. The neighbor hood is good and the parking was secure and convenient. We had two beach towels supplies and there were mats in the outside closet. The umbrellas there were dilapidated so we purchased a small one and left it when leaving. The rooftop patio was nice but it was simply too hot to enjoy (38C). The outside patio was nice and spacious with a table- we used it for breakfast dining. Internet was available and worked well. The location was close to shops in Porto Cervo but you will likely need a car to get around as it's quite hilly and the local drivers are very aggressive. We did try a couple of the local recommendations from the hosts guidebook such as beaches and food. Be aware that you need to leave a 5€/person/night cashtax when you leave.

We had a great holiday here. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It has a lovely terrace and garden as well as safe, designated parking. Our host, Elisabetta was extremely helpful when we had a couple of queries and gave some good restaurant recommendations. The location is great for both the Porto Cervo marina and the central shopping and restaurant areas, both of which are in walking distance. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this property.

Elisabetta was so delightful to interact with. The apartment was a 10 minute walk from the square and a 20 minute walk from the marina. It was clean with a private yard and patio right at the apartment and a private rooftop patio with the entrance just around the corner. This Porto Cervo apartment was ideal for the local scene and just as ideal as a base for exploring the surrounding towns and beaches. I would book the apartment again!

The property was well located and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Unfortunately the property was surrounded by heavy construction and impeded our ability to move our car safely. The construction was not disclosed by property owner and we reported our displeasure at check-in. We were concerned for our safety because of heavy equipment and large trucks. We left the property a day early and asked for compensation. I let the owner know that she may want to communicate the current situation to her next guests. If we had known about the construction noise each morning and throughout the day, smell from trucks, dirt piles obstructing our parking area, we would have NEVER rented this property. We would appreciate a refund for leaving one day early.
