Probably the best deal that to have for a 5 night stay that includes a fantastic breakfast! :)

The breakfast was wonderful, splendid for this price actually. All kinds of bread, cheese, cold cuts, vegetables, fruits and beverages. The personnel was also very nice to us. The mall is the street over the corner, whereas the beach is only two corners down the other way. Shops and great restaurants are nearby, you may also borrow the hotel bike. Recommended!

Beware that the parking is paying and you can only call off the booking during the morning hours if you find a cheaper mean to park. The view from the balcony is not that pleasuring, but at least you have a place to sit out with a wine in hand.

Perfect weekend get away with nice value for money ratio

Fast and easy check-in, parking spot directly in front of the hotel (payment only from May until September), just around the corner of "Zona pedonale", cozy but spacious room, perfect for families with two separate sleeping rooms, both with a direct door to the bathroom, big beds with additional pillows, heating/air conditioning worked perfectly fine, broad breakfast selection (even a wide range of savory options, gluten-free, non-diary, vegan)

Rooms are badly sound-proofed, even during low season the neighboring sounds (voices, shake up of furniture) kept you awake. Might be an even bigger issue during the summer months. A towel rack with drying function in the bathroom would be nice - especially in winter it's really freezing when stepping out of the shower.

Poor

Hotel offer is very low for extremely high price. Very small room with view on the city, average furniture (barely 3*). No welcome water, or anything in mini bar, no coffee machine in the room. We had to pay sunbeds 40€ at the hotel beach (or 20€ after 18h) plus beach towels 5€ each, just for the rent, and 5€ each time we want to change for clean ones. I am shocked. The pool also looks very poor and sad. Internet is very poor. They also charge their own parking 20€ per day. No comment….very inhospitable. We expected much more for 250-380€ per night.

the hotel is well positioned. in the city centre. a dedicated parking is available. the breakfast is complete and delicious.

I’m the same street very close to the hotel there is the rubbish collection point. very early in the morning the collection takes place. @6.10am ta big lorry collected the glass bins.. I let you imagine the sound of a big bin full of glasses thrown into a collection basket. a different way to early wake up. anyway this is not related to the hotel and its management.

To offer everyone, who desire rest!

The staff is very friendly, we were very satisfied with all of the services. In the hotel prevailed cleanness, the cleaning lady on our floor was very precise and conscientious, the hotel was prepared completely for the COVID-19 situation. Besides the location of the accommodation is perfect too, we could approach everything fast. All in all we had a great time in Hotel Athena and we can offer to anyone, who desire rest in friendly atmosphere.

Super Hotel bis auf das Bad noch schlimmer als in Italien generell

Lage, Personal und Frühstück wie immer super Klima auch perfekt

Das Badezimmer im superior Zimmer war leider völlig daneben. Der Duschvorhang befand sich angrenzend zu Wc Muschel was zur Folge hatte, dass man nach dem duschen mit den Füßen im Wasser saß, hab ich noch nie erlebt Sauberkeit im Bad war leider nicht so wie voriges Jahr

Personal ist Top sehr freundlich, auch Deutsch Kenntnisse gut. Die Lage ist optimal. Bei Ankunft war schon alles vorberewitet

Leider sind die Zimmer klein und wirken in die Jahre gekommen, Bad ist mini, man muss die Duschwand zur Wand klappen um auf die Toilette gehen zu können. Was aber am Störendsten war ist das man durch die Zimmer und zwar am ganzen Stock alles hört. Wir hatten leider das Pech das eine Gruppe von Tschechen der Meinung war von 18:00 Uhr bis halb 2 Nachts in den Zimmer und am Gang feiern zu müssen

Uno dei migliori hotel in cui abbia mai soggiornato. Camere spaziose, pulite. Hotel in pieno centro di Lignano (quindi qualsiasi servizio letteralmente a due passi dall'hotel) che rimane comunque molto silenzioso. Colazione abbondante e ottima. La vera ciliegia sulla torta è il personale... Impeccabile, da hotel a 5 stelle. Ho avuto un problema con la macchina il primo giorno e loro mi hanno trattata come se fossi una figlia, aiutandomi e consigliandomi cosa fare; davvero raro da trovare. Hanno anche la convenzione con il parcheggio e la spiaggia super servita. Che dire altro, sicuramente io e il mio fidanzato ci torneremo sicuramente, super consigliato . Una perla rara. Un bacio a tutti, un grazie particolare a Monica e Filippo, siete davvero delle persone speciali. Silvia e Simone
