The room was very nice
The check-in time is way too late, at 18.30, especially when the outside temperature is 38C.
I received an email about the check-in time at 10.30 am when i was already in the road. Had I known about it, i would have booked elsewhere.
To be fair, the staff helped us get in at 16.45, but we still had to spend hours outside.

This is an excellent hidden gem. Tucked away in the hills above Trieste. It is quiet & the hosts were very helpful and engaging. For us this was an impromptu stop off on our way to Croatia, but it looks like it would be a great base to explore around this area. Evening meals are served from the bar. The parking area is huge.
It isn’t where it’s indicated on booking dot com’s map. It took a bit of finding. It’s actually to the SW of the village on the same road.

The place itself is nice and quiet. Cleanliness.
I was promised by Booking a room with garden views, but they gave me a room without a window.
I was not provided with the bill at the restaurant.
