It is an island of peace in the middle of nature, with the surrounding Tzoumerka park also being peaceful and beautiful. The furnishings and facilities have a charming rustic character all their own; they covered all of our needs, in particular the well-equipped kitchen. For cyclists who can handle lots of climbing, it's a great place for one-day tours. But you can also spend the whole day in and around the house, where there is plenty of space to relax or for children to play. Outside of the house, you can observe various animals in their natural environments, including cats, squirrels, and a somewhat mischievous fox (don't leave anything unattended that he might want to eat). The proprietor, Tomas, was friendly and helpful in getting us set up upon arrival.

The nearest place to buy groceries is several kilometers away; but that needn't be a problem if you plan accordingly. Guests with mobility limitations might have difficulty navigating the stairs to the upstairs bedroom.
