At Villa Maciel you will have everything for an unforgettable holiday on the island of Madeira, including Wi-Fi, private pool, green spaces and a peaceful rural location!

This magnificent luxury villa has stunning views over the sparkling Atlantic Ocean and overlooks the cosmopolitan village, marina and sandy beaches of Calheta, just 1km away. Located on the cliff top, with a spectacular heated infinity pool, it is finished to a high standard and offers exceptional comfort and style for up to 6 people, with four large bedrooms, all with spectacular views and private bathrooms.
The internal living area is approximately 1200 m², spread over two floors and is designed for modern, open living, whilst the traditional shady open gallery on both sides of the villa and the fantastic barbecue area will constantly draw you into the spectacular sunny terrace and swimming pool. It has oil heaters in the bedrooms and a fireplace in the living room. Calheta is known for the sunniest climate in Madeira and the villa's magnificent private garden, which blooms all year round, is testament to its unique location. The villa has private parking with remote controlled electric access gates, additional cloakroom on the ground floor, large laundry room with washing machine and dryer, wi-fi, and large screen HD TV with international channels.
The kitchen is fully equipped for the enthusiastic cook! It has a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, . The Villa is stocked with all essential household items which include; varieties of tea, sugar, kitchen, toilet paper, liquid detergents, etc.:
Outside, relax on the sun loungers and enjoy delicious grilled meat and fish on the barbecue.
10 minutes by car from the beach and Marina of Calheta and Vila da Calheta. A short drive away, you can also reach the top of paul da serra or do some hiking.

Green surroundings and panoramic views over the Atlantic. Very good sun exposure. The House sits on a hillside overlooking the sea in southwest Madeira. This stretch of coast, known as the, has some of the most beautiful views in Madeira and as such is quickly becoming the place to live and holiday for the most discerning. The house is self-contained and set in well-kept gardens with terraces for alfresco dining and sunbathing. It also has a barbecue area. Inside the house offers spacious accommodation and is furnished to a high contemporary standard. The main bedroom has a double bed and a large bathroom. The other bedroom has two single beds. Both bathrooms have showers. The large open-plan living area has a sofa, cable TV, DVD, video and CD player and a dining table. For the winter months there are oil radiators for the bedrooms. The kitchen has large cabinets with granite countertops, electric oven and hob, microwave and washing machine. There is Wi-Fi available.
Parking directly at the house
It is also around 10 km from Jardim do Mar, where surfing is practiced.
We are just 40 km from Funchal Marina, 55 km from the airport, 4.5 km from Praia da Calheta. Arranging a rental car is recommended.
Please note that this is a non-smoking house. Cleaning, bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Casa Maciel sehr genossen! Ich kann mich allen anderen Bewertungen nur anschließen: Die Ausstattung ist für ein Ferienhaus perfekt! Es gab eine Grundausstattung aller Reinigungs- und Haushaltsmittel, Seife und die doppelte Anzahl an Handtüchern für alle. Wir konnten gut kochen, da genügend Töpfe und Auflaufformen / Geschirr vorhanden sind. Schöne Restaurants sind zu Fuß bis zur Marina gut zu erreichen. Der Supermarkt am Strand ist bestens sortiert, sodass man sich gut selber versorgen kann. Der Blick von der Terasse mit Pool ist wunderschön! Zwei Katzen nehmen für sich in Anspruch, dass sie auch dort wohnen und gefüttert werden müssen; sie erziehen dann die Mieter ;).
