About this villa rental
Nice country house in the countryside, 15 km from Lugo. Ideal for a rural getaway and disconnect from the city. The house is surrounded by meadows and forests in an isolated rural area. The nearest village is 1 km away, and the nearest village is 4 km away (Guntín). In the town you will find all the services such as supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, service station, free municipal swimming pool, in summer months, next to the Ferreira river, which has a bathing area and a pleasant 2 km river walk. The property consists of 4 double bedrooms, all on the top floor, large kitchen, living room, utility room, and two full bathrooms. As for the outside area, the property has a covered area around the entire house. Ideal for families and children, groups of adults or pilgrims. The farm has a total of half a hectare and is fully fenced and fenced, which makes it safe for pets. Pets of small and medium size (up to 20 kg approx.) Are admitted at no additional cost, with security deposit. For large pets please consult possible admission. In August we stayed in this beautiful house for a week with two adults and two teenagers (and our dog). The house was very clean and big. The kitchen was great! Our kids never had a dull moment. They enjoyed the table tennis table and the badminton field (and of course the wifi).
When we arrived, we were given a nice present: a Spanish ham and a bottle of wine. The owner of the place and his son David were very friendly and helpful.
Our dog enjoyed the place too, because he could run freely in the large, fenced garden.
We were allowed to use the vegetables in the garden, like potatoes, beans, lettuce, strawberries and zucchini.
We went to the local swimming pool in Guntín a few times (free). We also enjoyed Lugo and Santiago de Compostella. In Guntín, you can find a small super market.
